Everything!

I’ve been reading some encouraging words on this cold Lower Alabama morning. May I share?

From JESUS CALLING by Sarah Young:

“Remember that I can fit everything into a pattern for good, including the things you wish were different.”

Everything? Even that mess that’s been hanging around for — well, years?

Yes. Everything.

Renewed hope. Renewed strength. And sweet peace. Thank You!

Thank You, ABBA, for encouraging words. Thank You for the strength and power and courage along with those words to make them alive in us. Thank You.

12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

via Hebrews 4:11-13 KJV;CJB – Let us labour therefore to enter into – Bible Gateway.

4 For whatsoever things were written in times past, were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.

via Romans 15:3-5 KJ21;CJB – For even Christ pleased not Himself, – Bible Gateway.

Our 41st day of 2014, what shall we do with it?

Open Mouth

Thinking about words lately.

29 Let no harmful language come from your mouth, only good words that are helpful in meeting the need, words that will benefit those who hear them.

via Ephesians 4:28-30 KJV;CJB – Let him that stole steal no more: but – Bible Gateway.

10 Out of the same mouth come blessing and cursing! Brothers, it isn’t right for things to be this way. 11 A spring doesn’t send both fresh and bitter water from the same opening, does it?

via James 3 KJV;CJB – My brethren, be not many masters, – Bible Gateway.

3 Set a guard, Adonai, over my mouth; keep watch at the door of my lips.

via Ps 141 KJV;CJB – Lord, I cry unto thee: make haste unto – Bible Gateway.

10 I am the Lord your God, Who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide and I will fill it.

via Psalm 81:9-11 AMP;CJB – There shall no strange god be among – Bible Gateway.

8 Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honour all the day.

via Psalm 71:7-9 KJV;CJB – I am as a wonder unto many; but thou – Bible Gateway.

Enough said. :)

Thank You, ABBA, for these instructions. Thank You for Your patience and Your unfailing guidance to teach us Your way. May the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable to You today.

13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

via Psalm 19 KJV;CJB – The heavens declare the glory of God; – Bible Gateway.

May our words be kind and true this 38th day of 2014,

Kathie

A Wednesday Extra

What if?

What if we are seeking the EXPERIENCE of GOD and not actually seeking HIM?

Is that possible?

And what does that look like? How would we know?

How can we tell the difference? Is there a difference?

These are not rhetorical questions. :)

Your help would be appreciated on this 36th day of 2014,

Kathie

14 then, if my people, who bear my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face and turn from their evil ways, I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land.
