Day 30

Day 30 of The Giving of Thanks

Well, this is the last post of The Giving of Thanks — not that we won’t be giving thanks.

Rainy Days.
As I type this for posting, it’s a rainy Sunday. I often like rainy days. Especially cool rainy days. They are lovely for snuggling inside with warm, soft, and cuddly blankets, good books, good movies, yummy food, and faithful love.
As we move into December, let us continue to give thanks and let us prepare to celebrate the MOST FAITHFUL LOVE ever born – JESUS the CHRIST.

Isaiah 9:6 (NKJV) For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.  source

Day 29

Day 29 of The Giving of Thanks

YouTubes
But not just YouTubes.
With the morning light of recent days, JT has appreciated songs playing in his head. And, of course, when he tells me the name I pick up my phone, find my YouTube app, and locate the song. It took a little longer to find just the right one this morning as his song choice has many variations these days.
We hope the playing of songs is a long-running habit for us. It’s so worthy of The Giving of Thanks.

We hope you enjoy it.

And just in case you want to sing it to JESUS, just you and HE, he’s the pianist and the lyrics. Yes. Enjoy!

Day 28

Day 28 of The Giving of Thanks

Laughter.
It’s a good gift and if you are blessed to live with people who give you reasons to laugh out loud each day, you are doubly blessed.  JT does that for me.
Wait. Wasn’t there a song about that?
God has been doubly good to you?
I’ve got to look that up.
Found it!
And yes, HE has been doubly good to me!

Proverbs 17:22  (NKJV) 22 A merry heart does good, like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones. source

Day 27

Day 27 of The Giving of Thanks

Justice
I am giving thanks today and yesterday for every tidbit of holy justice that arises in this world, but especially here in America. And it is my prayer that holy justice will arise and become the norm. And it will; albeit, until it does I will give thanks for the small as we wait for YESHUA to come and reign.

Zechariah 14  (NKJV) 1 Behold, the day of the Lord is coming, . . .

Then the Lord will go forth And fight against those nations, As He fights in the day of battle.
And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, Which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two,
From east to west, Making a very large valley; Half of the mountain shall move toward the north And half of it toward the south.

And in that day it shall be That living waters shall flow from Jerusalem, Half of them toward the eastern sea And half of them toward the western sea; In both summer and winter it shall occur.
And the Lord shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be— “The Lord is one,” And His name one. source

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

The bird is roasting, the potatoes are baking; so is the dressing, the green beans will be in the pan soon and the cranberry sauce is chilling.
It’s been a laid-back morning so the meal is a little later than normal; but, hey, we are giving many thanks. And we hope you all are as well.

With JESUS love and kindest regards to you all,
JT and Kathie
