Isaiah 53:11-12 Complete Jewish Bible
11 After this ordeal, he will see satisfaction. “By his knowing [pain and sacrifice], my righteous servant makes many righteous; it is for their sins that he suffers.
12 Therefore I will assign him a share with the great, he will divide the spoil with the mighty, for having exposed himself to death and being counted among the sinners, while actually bearing the sin of many and interceding for the offenders.” source

Hebrews 12:2 King James Version
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. source
For the joy that was set before Him —
Do you see it?
It was foretold in Isaiah and confirmed again and again; like here in Hebrews.

That joy, that satisfaction was procuring our salvation.

Love this! Reminds me of an old hymn, “I Am Satisfied”.
I am satisfied with Jesus,
He has done so much for me.
He has suffered to redeem me,
He has died to set me free.
I am satisfied, I am satisfied,
But the question comes to me
As I think on Calvary,
Is my Master satisfied with me?
Something to ponder today. A very timely post. Thank you dear friend.
I love your response! And you too my beloved sister!
