Square On

How do you handle guilt? You know that voice that accuses; that voice that sounds like your very own voice belittling you and shaming you and pointing out again and again that you have failed. Like when you are late getting to the War Room. Even there you hear: I should have been here sooner.  And then you stop. That’s not DADDY GOD’s voice.

And then you say, That’s absolutely true. It would have been better if I had been here earlier; but, I am here now!
And that means neither my flesh nor my enemy kept me away. I made it!

That my Friends is progress. For sure. For sure. More victories are on the way when we learn to look the accuser’s charge square on; admit it, if it is true, and then turn from it toward the Father and keep on walking.

Revelation 12:10  (NIV) 10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Messiah. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down.  source

1 John 1:9  (TLV) If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. source

Philippians 4:13 (NASB) 13 I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. source

Like!

I begin not knowing the end; I am appreciating the beginning though.

Beth Moore.
Praying God’s Word.
Page 124. She said Peace is the fruit of authority. God’s authority.
Read it.

And now I’m here.
Peace is the fruit of authority. God’s authority.

Fruit – like a product of something. Like in Galatians the Fruit of the Spirit.  (see Galatians 5:22-23)

Peace is the fruit of authority. God’s authority.

So when my soul, my very being is at peace that must mean I am acknowledging and obeying the authority of GOD over me. Like, I am not kicking against His ways and will. Right?

So like when my soul is not at peace? When I am all out of sorts, agitated, ticked off, and about to hurt somebody with my words?  Am I at that moment resisting the authority of GOD over me and thus peace has died on the branch?

Happens, doesn’t it? And then there is this:

1 John 1:9  (KJV) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. source

Awash! – full to the point of flowing over –

Let us be awash today in the love and authority of our Father!
