Cheer Up!

Some verses to cheer us.

John 14:“Do not let your heart be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in Me. In My Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and take you to Myself, so that where I am you may also be. And you know the way to where I am going.”  source

Acts 1:11 They also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.” source

I Thessalonians 4: 14 For if we believe that Yeshua died and rose again, so with Him God will also bring those who have fallen asleep in Yeshua. 15 For this we tell you, by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord shall in no way precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself shall come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the blast of God’s shofar, and the dead in Messiah shall rise first. 17 Then we who are alive, who are left behind, will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air—and so we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.  source

Praying a good prayer for GOD’s Women. For us to be modest in our apparel, modest in our spending and modest in our day to day living; but in our love for our GOD and others to be oh so extravagant.

Choose Wisely

As I write, our Facebook feeds tell us one is dead and one injured; our major Interstate (North and South for miles) is closed; HazMat has relieved us with news: no hazard substance to fear.

Of this I am certain this dear man did not step up into his vehicle this morning expecting to die today. Earlier this morning, JT and I attended the funeral of a sweet friend’s mother.

People. Death. Is. Certain.

The testimony given at the service this morning assured me my friend’s mother safely arrived in Heaven on Sunday.  The Minister explained well the way of Salvation. Jesus paid it all. Paid for all the sins of mankind. We could say He wrote a blank check for each of us.  There’s no catch but there is a condition. We must individually accept the check, endorse it, and take it to the Bank.

We accept the check by faith, knowing we NEED The Savior, that we cannot pay our own sin debt.  By faith we endorse that check with our mouths confessing our faith in the LORD JESUS CHRIST not just as the Savior of the world but MY Savior; and we take that check to the bank when we say Thank You LORD JESUS for saving me.

Death is certain.
Two Destinations.
Individually we choose.
Choose wisely.

Roman Road

Romans 10:  because if you acknowledge and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord [recognizing His power, authority, and majesty as God], and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart a person believes [in Christ as Savior] resulting in his justification [that is, being made righteous—being freed of the guilt of sin and made acceptable to God]; and with the mouth he acknowledges and confesses [his faith openly], resulting in and confirming [his] salvation.  (Amp) Source

Houston

Abba, I am confident and certain that You love the people of Houston and all in Texas; I am specifically coming on behalf of those affected by the storm. Thank You for the lives You have already saved. For the homes and belongings You have spared and for those not, I pray they will believe You for better than they lost. People who say they know have said it will take years for Houston to recover. I pray You will bring a full recovery sooner than expected and more than they can imagine. You know I am especially thinking of Beth and her family. I pray she will get safely home to them soon. Comfort and woo the people to Yourself by Your kindness and with the kindness of Your people taught and led by You, Holy Spirit. Help us help them in Jesus name.
