Birds!

There’s a YouTuber whom Jerry and I frequent.
Tim Janis
The scenes are mesmerizing with natural beauty, and the music is calming and relaxing. We like it!

Today, some of the scenes we watched included birds in flight. Majestic!  And then I thought of you. Well, actually, first I thought of Father and His Majesty and His Awesomeness to create all that we see and what we are yet to see.

Birds. Amazing creatures! They fly!! I think you might enjoy this video about how they fly.

And the GOD who loves us designed it, all of it! This knowledge should do great things for us! Our faith, our love, our trust, our worship, should SOAR!

How about a few pics of some birds before I close today?   And don’t forget our Scripture Pic before the close.

Building

Monday night, coming up on Tuesday morning in a few hours.  It’s been a productive day. Some sourdough bread is baking in the oven, supper dishes are washed, and I have a few minutes to sit before this screen, wondering what I can write tonight to give you a smile and some encouragement in the morning.

Babies were born today! I was personally asked to pray for 2 of them. It’s a great privilege to pray for people. I hope you are acting on that privilege as often as you are asked by people and prompted by HOLY SPIRIT.

Posture has been coming to my mind often, recently, particularly keeping my shoulders back so my spine will align properly.  I understand from YouTubers that rounded shoulders lead to health issues. So I am being mindful of my shoulders, continually straightening them back and relaxing them down.  Trusting muscle memory will kick in with time.

If I were clever, I would use muscle memory as a springboard for something spiritually profound, but I’m not clever, especially tonight, but I will say, briefly, Spiritual muscle memory is imperative to live a life of joy in JESUS.

So what do you need to practice to build some Spiritual Muscles?

Time and Light Bulbs

True. We do not know what a day may bring. We have expectations, and we have hopes, and many of those hopes and expectations come to be, right on time.

Time.

Today I am thinking about a week from now.
LORD willing, this time next Sunday, I will be enjoying that it’s only 2:46 in the afternoon rather than 3:46.
Daylight Saving Time ends this coming Saturday.  Not everyone is happy about that, even my daughter, but for me, it’s a happy. At noon, the sun will be in its place, and at 9:00 p.m., even on the East Coast, the sun will have dropped below the horizon.
And so, we make our plans, and that is good. Planning is good and necessary.  Imagine the chaos without plans. But let us learn to hold those plans in the palms of our hands, not our fists.

You are right. I am rambling. Sometimes I just like to be heard, even when what I have to say is not a light bulb for you or me.

Happy Monday and holy hugs, Kathie
