In Preparation

I have some reading for my serious in the faith Brothers and Sisters.
They are long pieces but they are worth it if you are serious about navigating this GOD hating world we live in.

Both are written by Leo Hohmann

When the lawless are in charge of the laws

and

January 6, 2021: The day our faith [in Republicanism] was breached

If you have an open mind, a willing heart, and a ready ear, settle in and read them both.

I’ll be upfront with you, I’m not faring well today. I am as angry and hurt as I have been  . . .  ever I think. The counsel given in these articles is very much for me. For those of you who believe in prayer — I need it.

Come Read with Me

May I pass along a worthwhile reading piece?
It comes from Olive Tree Ministries and One News Now

Be angry about what’s happening, believers – but sin not

American repentancePresident Donald Trump’s evangelical supporters feel the anger over a stolen election and the cancelling of their free speech just as much as do their secular peers – but as followers of Christ, they have an extra tool in their toolbox to deal with it.

Christians are not immune from being angry over the hypocrisy they’re witnessing in today’s political scene – a hypocrisy that Dan Gainor of MRC TechWatch says has clearly been on full display since last week’s siege on the U.S. Capitol.

“If you tell people you’re angry – righteously angry – and you’re righteously angry from the left, they throw accolades at you. Even if you riot in DC, they name a whole plaza after your movement – Black Lives Matter Plaza,” he notes. “But if you’re righteously angry from the right? Oh, well then you go to jail.”

Pastor Ray Pritchard of Keep Believing Ministries argues that believers must not give in to rage, which he says is really a sign of fear.

Pritchard

“We’re afraid. We’re worried about what is going on in the world today,” he acknowledges. “[But] I just want to remind people: Jesus said, ‘You will see all these things begin to happen. See that you are not afraid.'”

The ministry leader also acknowledges that what’s being experienced now could very well be the beginning of the slide toward the literal “last days” prophesized about in the Book of Revelation.

Jan Markell, founder and director of Olive Tree Ministries, contends if that’s the case, it could be a very troubling four years under a Joe Biden/Kamala Harris administration that promises to be far less pro-Israel than the past four.

“I think it’s going to be heartbreaking for evangelical Christians,” the Messianic Jewish leader tells One News Now. “Terrorism is going to increase; God’s favor on America is going to decrease; and of course, these people are godless – so they could care less what they think God is going to be doing.”

And persecution of Christians and conservatives, Markell predicts, “is simply going to go off the chart.”

Markell, Jan (Olive Tree Ministries)“We already see it – they’re not even in office yet and they’re coming after conservatives on social media. So that’s just a foretaste of what’s to come.”

Markell adds that with the agenda and policies being put forth by Democrats in Washington, it’s entirely possible that “evil is going to reign forever.”

“… And that’s a very terrifying thought in the natural,” she continues. “But with an End Times perspective, I think it’s just setting the stage for the antichrist. I think the antichrist is waiting in the wings.”

All the more reason, Pritchard says, to be righteously angry about what’s going on – but sin not. “I think there is plenty of room for concern, [but] there’s plenty of need to organize,” he urges. “Christians ought to stand together. We ought to be praying, we ought to be bold, we ought to be strong.”

“Is there room for anger?” he concludes. “Yes, there is room for righteous anger – but let it be controlled by the Spirit of God.”

It’s Only the Trailer

I dare say there are Folks in my world that will attest that I have walked a few days in Faith and that GOD has given me a fair amount of wisdom.
There are others who would no doubt say I am a fanatic or perhaps old, naive, and not woke.
I’ve come to peace with the opinions of both camps. So much so that I am about to give both camps fuel for their campfires.

2020.
