The evil one through his minions tempts everyone.
EVERYONE.

And in these temptations, as people obey the tempter it brings about the evil one’s goal to steal, kill, and destroy. See John 10:10
38 Bible verses about Satan, as Tempter.

BUT GOD.
He tempts NO ONE!

But He does TEST His OWN.
These TESTS that come at the Hand of GOD only to His saints is to show us what is IN us – be it a particular area of strength to appreciate and yield for more strength OR to show us a well-hidden (from us) sin that we must admit and allow Him to help us forsake. See John 15:2; Hebrews 12:8

GOD is always good.
He is always right.
He is always just.
HE IS LOVE.
IF this is not your understanding of HIM, I urge You to seek Him for the why.

A New Story

I saw this on Facebook today. 

And while I formulated a response on Facebook I decided to post it here instead. 

To us in our world who want no judging of one another, we are erring badly. 
You see ALL misery, sorrows, the whole gamut of pain in this world is due to SIN; either ours or someone else’s OR a combination of both – being that we sin in response to their sin – often that is due to a refusal to forgive and trust GOD to defend us and help us. 

So, here’s my first thought.  Likely I will follow with some more. 

I get the warm fuzzies of this sentiment but it does not liberate the one with the story. It gives excuses but not hope for a better story; for a story with victory over hurts and sorrows and pains. GOD has already done the judging – He has judged ALL sin for whatever reason committed, and our only hope for victory is to help one another COME OUT of our sins and live a NEW STORY. As I said I get the sentiment. I get that we all want warm fuzzies, we all want acceptance, but it’s not sentiment that heals, It’s repentance, forgiveness, and obedience in love.

I have heard it over and over: you can’t judge me. 
You are right I can’t but I am obligated by LOVE when prompted by HOLY SPIRIT to offer you victory over your sins.
And quite frankly if you are my brother and sister in CHRIST JESUS, you owe it to me when you see me practicing sin to come to me and offer me hope and help to forsake that sin. 

That’s the way I see it. 

We have the RIGHT to do right in this WRONG world,

Oh, Father, Your Creation I see just outside my window is still beautiful and wonderful. I look at it and I think how can it be that so much evil is saturating this planet — yet I know.
The depravity of fallen humans has no bottom — a bottomless pit.
But You oh LORD are gracious and You have made a way of escape.
Thank You for Your Redemption. Thank You that ALL who will believe and trust You are saved and will yet be saved from the wretchedness of sin. Amen and amen in the Mighty Name of YESHUA.

Hi, Y’all.

Isaiah 53.

I hope you will read the Passage – all of it. 

But for this posting let me direct you to verse 9.

9 He was given a grave among the wicked; in his death he was with a rich man.  Although he had done no violence and had said nothing deceptive,   source

Although He had done no violence – we expect that, right? And we expect the next too but think deeply when you read it: and had said NOTHING deceptive. 
Nothing.
Not a word.
Not a phrase.
Not a clause.
Not a sentence of anything but the TRUTH did He speak for 33 1/2 years. 
Make that forever.
Because He is STILL telling us the truth. He is still never deceiving us. 

And you can say that of NO other person in ALL of Eternity – only JESUS, only The Triune GOD – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
