I am smitten with the beauty of it. The bluest blue, dotted with white and sprinkled with green. So much so that I came in to pen this post for you.
It is not quite two o’clock in Lower Alabama and the skies
are a feast for the eyes.
I noticed as I was strolling the yard there was nary a breeze. Since coming in though I see Old Glory giving me a wave or two. A gorgeous September day! And we could and probably should stop right there but we generally don’t; we go on to say But it’s hot! And so it is.
Yep! striking somewhere between 90 and 100 degrees. I’ve often done this: see the exceedingly good things surrounding me and then let a but it’s hot turn my sunshine to rain, BUT today I think I’ll just enjoy this puppy dog flying high.
5 Thy mercy, OLord, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.source
11 (10) For your grace is great, all the way to heaven, and your truth, all the way to the skies.
12 (11) Be exalted, God, above heaven!May your glory be over all the earth!source
Amen and Amen!
Until then ~ ~ ~ Kathie The Blood of Jesus is Enough
NO SIN GOES UNPUNISHED. EITHER WE BEAR IT OR JESUS DOES IT FOR US, AND WE GET TO CHOOSE WHO DOES THE BEARING.
This is not an endorsement of the book or the author – rather a springboard for a thought.
The day is for work (and play), respectively; the night is for sleep and rest.
And what is rest anyway?
Quiet; repose; a state free from motion or disturbance; a state of reconciliation to God. source
What have we done?
Lights are powerful enough to keep the work day or play day going well into the dark.
Added to the lights are toys of every sort. Even when the body reclines, the mind continues to spin. And so under the cover of night with its artificial light much evil thrives; be it just the evil of bodies, souls, and minds who refuse to oblige The Maker of the Day and the Night, respectfully.
I asked ABBA a question this morning; we are still discussing it.
ABBA, have we as Western people made You into a milk-toast God – a God Who is no longer Just or capable of being angry at sin or sinners?
Isn’t it true that healthy people separate themselves from close fellowship with others who do them harm? Is GOD not smart enough to do that too? Perhaps a few verses related to fellowship would shed some light. ClickHERE.
Why would we want a GOD that does not punish (or at the least warn and correct folks committing) sin? Why would we want a GOD Who is all love, the sappy kind that says “oh any thing you want to do is fine with me; I’ll even stand here and applaud as you do what I have revealed in My Word is deadly for you?” What kind of soul wants that kind of GOD? What kind of parent does that to their children? What kind of society does that to itself?
Has the Western society at large come to the place its people want no GOD or perhaps a GOD that bows to the people instead of the people bowing to Him in love and obedience?
We are glad you are here; stay a while, look around, and be encouraged. We estimate there to be over 3,000 posts here at The White Stone Blog. Please know my hope is ALWAYS to help and NEVER harm. I have voiced many opinions and thoughts here since 2007 and by now I MAY NOT EVEN AGREE with all of them and some of my grammar and punctuation likely needs editing. But this is changeless: JESUS is our ONLY Savior and Hope. Do you KNOW Him?
