Would you like to peek over my shoulder this morning?  Obviously, I want you to since I offered. 

Conversing with Father. 
Father, how do we reach people with Your Gospel who are so wrapped up in the distractions and tinsel of the god of this world? People don’t even know they are distracted and side-tracked, many think they are right on track, pursuing their dreams. They don’t even know they are blind. How can we help them? Some have said love them to JESUS and REAL LOVE would do that, wouldn’t it? But how many of us even know what real love looks like ——-

Your WRATH on JESUS for us
that means You must hate sin pretty bad
(that’s an understatement, I know). 

People don’t hate sin like that. People love their sins.
We can’t love You and our sins at the same time, can we? 
It ain’t happening, is it?
To love You means we hate our sins, doesn’t it?
Help us really love You.

I am still in the process and it looks to be a while, rather than wait I am here with what I have now.  Possibly short. 

1 Samuel 17.
Part of our Weekly Planner Reading

Just a couple quick notes.

Verse     8 He stood and yelled at the armies of Isra’el, “Why come out and draw up a battle line? I’m a P’lishti, and you are servants of Sha’ul, so choose a man for yourselves, and let him come down to me.   source

Servants of Sha’ul (Saul). The Giant saw them as servants of Saul. I think they saw themselves as servants of Saul too.  
Let us never do that.
Let us not be or believe ourselves to be servants of man — even when we are serving man.  

Verse 11 When Sha’ul and all Isra’el heard those words of the P’lishti, they were shaken and terrified.       source

Do you know why they were shaken and terrified? 
Because they saw and believed themselves to be servants of Saul.

Who should they have believed themselves to be?

Verse 26 David said to the men standing with him, “What reward will be given to the man who kills this P’lishti and removes this disgrace from Isra’el? Who is this uncircumcised P’lishti anyway, that he challenges the armies of the living God?”   source

There we are! 

Armies of the Living GOD.

Yes. We do serve one another but we must ultimately know as Disciples of The CHRIST that we are servants of The Living GOD if we want to live holy and healthy. 

What we believe makes all the difference in the battle. 
When we are shaken and terrified; let us check what we have believed.

Is it late Tuesday, July 26, 2022, already?

Do you as I think days are slipping by quickly?

Life really is just a vapor, isn’t it? 

James 4:14 “Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.”

So what are you doing with your 24/7 — your life?

Are you satisfied with where you are in this season of your years? 
Are there changes you need to make to be able to look in the mirror and say ‘you did good today?’
And what is good anyway?
Who decides what is good? Who has the authority to decide what is good? 

That’s about it — just popped in to say hello and ask nosey questions.
