Anybody?

1 John 1:21st Century King James Version (KJ21)

9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

via 1 John 1:8-10 KJ21;CJB – If we say that we have no sin, we – Bible Gateway.

Anybody just want to say thank You for this truth?!

and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness?

Anybody getting this with me? Repentance and confession = CLEAN!

And those mercies for cleansing are new this morning (Lamentations 3:21-23) and late at night too! :)

Be Hidden in CHRIST,

ABBA, thank You for Your mercy that cleanses us from ALL unrighteousness. Thank You that Your Blood, LORD JESUS, is enough to cleanse the chief of sinners. Thank You that You answer our prayers; and thank You that sometimes Your answer is No.
Thank You that Jamie is home eating and enjoying her family. Still we ask that You heal her; that chemo be successful with minimal side effects. And I ask this for Terri too. Lift up the families of these I pray. Thank You that Dylan is doing so much better. I pray for continued healing and a full recovery soon. Heal Leon too I pray. And I am continuing to ask for miracles of needed kinds for Others and Kerri. Dori. Lance, Adalynn, Alyssa. Anna. And for Debbie – textbook perfect surgery on Wednesday and a full recovery I pray. And just general stuff for families – life seems really hard, ABBA, help us to be not despondent and discouraged but rather believe You for victory for our children and grandchildren. And, ABBA, I pray for kindness in the CHURCH and help for grieving parents – The Warrens particularly come to mind. And, ABBA, Another comes to mind and I ask You to comfort her. Many troubles, all around; we just ask for help to live victoriously – cleansed of all our unrighteousness for JESUS sake. And I would not forget Israel: peace, protection and the subduing of her enemies I pray. And for America, my first request is that You pour out HOLY SPIRIT conviction and that a wave of repentance would sweep this land from shore to shore.

ASK!

John 16:23-25

. . . ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

via John 16:23-25 KJV;CJB – And in that day ye shall ask me – Bible Gateway.

Because of the event we are memorializing this day and the day coming we will be celebrating – Resurrection Sunday – we can ask and receive!

So do it! ASK!

Whatever it is ASK. You cannot ask too much of HIM – HE has given His ALL.

You can ask in complete safety because if what you ask is not good for you, in His great love for you He will say, ‘No, receive this instead, it is more than you expect and far better.’

So ASK. Ask believing – the cross and the resurrection of JESUS CHRIST should be enough. Shouldn’t it?

Yes, LORD YESHUA, it is enough. It is finished. YOU have given Your All and it is enough. Enough blood to cleanse all our sins. Enough joy to brighten the way and the heart on the saddest of days. Enough love to love even the unloveliest. Enough mercy to pardon the most evil. Enough grace to lift up and set on a new road the chief of sinners. I pray now for those who have not yet ASKED that they yet will.
Thank You for
Jamie’s improving condition. And since I am asking, ABBA, I am asking that You will remove ALL cancer from Jamie’s body and give her a new lease on this earthly journey. Kerri. Still asking for miracles. Dylan. Since his surgery was postponed – thanking You and asking again for textbook perfect surgery this coming Wednesday and recovery to follow. Dori. Always increasing health for her – that she will walk again. Lance. That he will walk again too; comfort and strength for him and his family. Alyssa. A miracle healing, ABBA, we pray. Ray. Comfort and vision for a well completed journey in Your time. Pam and Vicki – comfort in grieving. Peace and protection for Israel. Revival for America. Sunday School members – their individual requests. And all other matters on our hearts. We bring them individually and collectively and we ask for Your Glory and Your Will to be made plain in them all. Our thank You-s are not enough ABBA but we offer them the same and ask for more surrendered hearts and deeper love for You and each other for JESUS sake.

Passover Week

I am not well versed but I understand from some who are that last night at 6:00 Passover Week began. Traditionally, the leaven has been removed from their home-places.

15 Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.

via Exodus 12 KJV;CJB – And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron – Bible Gateway.

We would do well to remove the leaven from our homes for the week of Passover and continuing until you and I pass-over.

ABBA, open our eyes to see the leaven in our hearts that we will cooperate with You to remove it from our lives. Thank You, LORD JESUS, for being our Substitute. Thank You for saving us. HOLY SPIRIT, help us to exalt and demonstrate to all that JESUS is LORD. And, ABBA, in my flawed flesh I pridefully think You have given all how could I even ask for more and yet You expect me to do that very thing: to bring it all. Jamie. Surgery this morning. ABBA, I am asking for a miracle. I am asking You to heal Jamie. I am asking for textbook perfect surgery and textbook perfect recovery for her. I trust You, ABBA, to do all things well for our Jamie. And the report is that Alyssa is doing well. Thank You, ABBA. Thank You. We are a needy bunch of people. Thank You for taking care of us. Thank You for loving us. Thank You for being our Father that always loves us and always provides the best for us. Thank You, ABBA. Thank You. Kerri. Still asking for a miracle. Dylan. Surgery on Wednesday. Again textbook perfect, please, ABBA. Lance and his family. It’s a tough go but we know You are faithful. Terri and her family. Thank You for your faithfulness to them; we trust You. Dori. Pam and Vicki. They are grieving, ABBA, but again You are faithful and we pray for them to receive Your comfort even now. Much good to do today. We pray for eyes to see and hands and feet to do it for JESUS sake. Thank You, LORD YESHUA. Our MESSIAH and SAVIOR.

Think About It.

Hebrews 6: 6 Therefore, leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,

via Hebrews 6:1-3 KJ21 – Therefore, leaving the principles of – Bible Gateway.

A couple observations this morning. I think. :)

Foundation of repentance.

Repentance. The foundation on which we build relationships. A Relationship with YESHUA. And relationships with one another.  In the words of Steve Brown: “You think about that.”

Dead works. What are dead works? Obviously there is no life in them. Else they would not be DEAD WORKS. That makes sense. So there is no Laying up of treasures in Heaven in dead works.

20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in Heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal.

via Matthew 6 KJ21;CJB – “Take heed that ye do not your – Bible Gateway.

You know what comes before this verse in Matthew 6? The LORD’s Prayer – asking for HIS forgiveness. You know what comes next? A command to forgive others. And next? That works without forgiveness = dead works.  Dead works are NOT YESHUA’s will for us. Laying up treasure in Heaven is. And those treasures begin with FORGIVENESS. That’s the foundation.

Something to think about. Isn’t it?

ABBA, thank You for speaking with us today. Thank You for confirming Your Word with Your Word. And so I pray for forgiveness for each of us today. That we will seek Your forgiveness and that we will ask for forgiveness from others we have hurt with our words and our deeds. I pray we will see afresh the value You place on forgiveness; the necessity of it to build relationships and life.
I am still remembering Terri. Kerri. Dori. Two Mission Trips. Israel. America. Joy. Leslie. Ray. Family needs. Souls in need of forgiveness but so far will not ask in saving faith. Have Mercy, ABBA. Yet save them we pray. And for each One who gathers here with us today, I pray for strength and wisdom; for a firm foundation of repentance and many works that are well pleasing to You and worthy of treasure in Heaven in the Holy Name of JESUS we pray.
