The following came to me this morning by email and I am compelled to share it with you.

Birds are so fragile and vulnerable. These amazing photos captured a drama with two of these little creatures that is every bit as poignant and heart-wrenching as any human story. Kudos to the photographer. The newspapers that carried these photos sold out in every country.
HIS EYE IS ON THE SPARROW
A female bluebird was hit by a car as she swooped low across the road, and the condition was soon fatal. Her male mate brought her food and attended her with love and compassion.
He brought her food again, but was shocked to find her dead.
He tried to move her – a rarely seen effort.
Aware his mate was dead and would never come back to him
again, he cried out with adoring love
. . . and stood beside her with sadness and sorrow.
Millions of people were touched after seeing these photos in America , Europe, Australia , and even India . The photographer sold these pictures for a nominal fee to the most famous newspaper in France .. All copies of that edition sold out on the day these pictures were published.
And many people think animals and birds don’t have brains or feelings.
You have just witnessed love and sorrow felt by God’s creatures.
The Bible says that God knows when a sparrow falls.
Imagine how much He cares for us!
Live simply, love generously, care deeply, give fully
The author and photographer of the foregoing are unknown to me. I take no credit here for their great work.
Yep! That’s us. Powerless and incompetent to save ourselves!
So Jesus had compassion on us! And because of Him we are no longer helpless. He is our help. And we are no longer harried – well, we are still working on that one :) with The Shepherd’s Tending!
Grateful on this 27th day of 2014 for The Shepherd’s Tending – no longer helpless and learning to be less harried!!
7 Throw all your anxieties upon him, because he cares about you.
7 Throw all your anxieties upon him, because he cares about you.
7 Throw all your anxieties upon him, because he cares about you.
Have you ever thrown a basketball? Ever thrown anything? It takes a decision and movement doesn’t it? You can’t be passive about it. You can’t just sit there and hope it will happen. You have to make a move. Hmm. Throw. It is the word used here.
So to get my anxieties upon Him I have to make a move. And that move is TRUST. Trust is active. It is a decision that I make and He supplies the power to follow through. To actually do the casting as the King James version reads.
7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
We are glad you are here; stay a while, look around, and be encouraged. We estimate there to be over 3,000 posts here at The White Stone Blog. Please know my hope is ALWAYS to help and NEVER harm. I have voiced many opinions and thoughts here since 2007 and by now I MAY NOT EVEN AGREE with all of them and some of my grammar and punctuation likely needs editing. But this is changeless: JESUS is our ONLY Savior and Hope. Do you KNOW Him?
