IDOK DEVOTION FOR MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2008
Psalm 112: 6 Surely he will never be shaken;
The righteous will be in everlasting remembrance.
7 He will not be afraid of evil tidings;
His heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD.
We will not fear evil tidings nor forecasts. We will take all the precautions of the prudent and we will trust ABBA. This we will do in whatever state we are at all times.
I will plan to be with you again on Tuesday morning.
Father, You have been hearing our prayers regarding Gustav for awhile now. We proclaim not only are You sovereign but You are Love, You are kind, You are just, You are merciful. And Abba, if You will reduce Gustav to at least a 2 before he comes ashore. We trust You to govern this, we trust You to care for souls and property. We trust You to take even this storm and bring good from it for Your glory. We pray for these listed here with their many needs that each will believe You to be faithful however difficult and adverse are the tidings they hear and experience. We believe Your Word that You forever remember us; that we are always and forever on Your Heart. Thank You for the protection You have given our IDOK Troops; we entrust each of them to You again and again. And we pray for their safe returns to family and friends at the appointed time. You know how grateful I am to You for recent events. You know the desires of my heart for America; for Israel; for the presidency; for IDOK. Thank You for loving us; thank You for the peace and security we have in You.
