On this Friday Evening in March

I am pondering as I look at LUKE.

I am just starting to read Warren Wiersbe’s the Bible Exposition Commentary (via Logos) [as relates to the book of Luke – not the whole thing – yet 🙂 ] and right out of the gate I began chasing rabbits, part of which is coming to The White Stone to share with you.

Wiersbe said the key theme of the book of Luke is Our Lord’s journeys as the Son of man.

May I tell you I immediately liked the way that read and then I was off. Here’s where:

When we are anticipating a journey, we make plans. Plans as to when we will leave home, where we are going, what we will do while we are there, what we will need while there and when we will return home. So tell me, did God do this as well as He prepared for His journey from Heaven to Earth and back to Heaven again?

Something to ponder, isn’t it?

And by the way Wiersbe said the key verse in Luke is Luke 19:10

10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
