Lamentations 3: (NLT)22 The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. 23 Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. source

And what a morning it is! The LORD’s mercies are new for us!  If we messed up yesterday, today’s a new day!

Genesis 1: (KJV) 5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. source

Just an observation. Night comes before day. We start out in the dark and when JESUS speaks the Light dawns.

Just a quick hello for the weekend.

The first rejoice and the last rejoice of the KJV. Lets see.

Exodus 18:9 And Jethro rejoiced for all the goodness which the Lord had done to Israel, whom he had delivered out of the hand of the Egyptians.  source

I like that!  That would be a great thing for us to do this weekend. Rejoice for all the goodness which the LORD has done for us.

And the last rejoice? What could it be?

Revelation 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.  source

I recently attended a writer’s seminar.
I’ve been mulling it over. Asking myself questions. Here’s one of them.

Why do I want to write?

I want to inspire people to think.

What do I want them to think?

I want us all to think soberly, righteously, and eternally with some humor along the way. 

Why?

Because the consequences are life and death.
