Scriptural Address

As I sit to bring a word or two to you come Tuesday morning, this has been a day I appreciate.

Lots of reading and some prayer journaling and after lunch working in the backyard with my J.; yes it has been a day to make me smile.
I hope you have smiled today too.

2 Timothy 2 contains marvelous counsel for us.

23 Again I say, don’t get involved in foolish, ignorant arguments that only start fights.
24 A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, be able to teach, and be patient with difficult people.
25 Gently instruct those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people’s hearts, and they will learn the truth.
26 Then they will come to their senses and escape from the devil’s trap. For they have been held captive by him to do whatever he wants. source

That is so plain, how could we miss it?
Are you like me, in need of practice here?
Let’s practice together.
Let’s be People of The Word together.

Today’s reading – Tuesday; if you are reading along is Isaiah 61.
That is a precious Scriptural Address to me.
More than a couple of decades ago before the dawn of a workday, I sensed HOLY SPIRIT telling me to turn to Isaiah 61.
Next, I heard myself say aloud, LORD, I don’t even know if there is an Isaiah 61

There is. 🙂
