Just For Starters

Just two verses.

Ready?

28 So they said to him, “What should we do in order to perform the works of God?”
29 Yeshua answered, “Here’s what the work of God is: to trust in the one he sent!” source

Allow me to share what this means to me.
What does GOD expect of me?
What does He require of me to enter His Kingdom?
What does it take for me to have His favor?
What does it take for me to have fellowship with Him?
What does it take for me to miss hell and live eternally in His Presence?

And John 6:29 gives me the answer. The LORD JESUS HIMSELF told us.

TO TRUST IN THE ONE THE FATHER SENT!

Who did the Father send?
They were looking at Him when they asked!

TRUST JESUS!

So what does Trusting JESUS mean?
It means I believe EVERYTHING HE said — I TRUST that HE IS THE TRUTH.
I TRUST HE will NEVER by HOLY SPIRIT lead me anywhere but to righteousness.

It means I pick up my Bible and I read and I believe EVERYTHING His Word says about HIM, about mankind, and all things in between.
It means I TRUST HIM even when I don’t understand what I just read — I TRUST HIM to teach me and educate me.

AND THAT’S JUST FOR STARTERS

Because trusting and learning HIM is an everlasting joy!
And we have only just begun!

Happy Friday my Friends!

  1. The more I read and study Gods word in context, the more I know Him and the more I trust Him. Trust is everything to the Holy Spirit being able to work through me.
Lord, I do trust You, help my unbelief!!!
I pray my trust continues to blossom and grow and leads me to a place of absolute trust where I can move mountains, heal the sick and raise the dead!!

    • You and me both Sister!!
I want so much for other brothers and sisters to see not only how important Scripture is but how satisfying and filling it is to read and digest Scripture! To see JESUS on the pages! There’s nothing like it! There is not a book, movie anything this society/world can conjure up that compares to HIM and His Word. Thank you. ♥️
