Follower of Yeshua. Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother. Some call me a teacher. Some say I'm a prayer warrior. A few accredit me with some writing skills. Me? I say I'm a work in slow progress, looking for perfection in eternity and until then having all the holy fun I know how.

What a Prayer!

The Passage we are about to read comes after Peter and John had spent the night in jail and the next morning the Rules and Elders (Religious Folks) examined them and in the end charged them to shut up about JESUS. Upon their release they gathered with their companions of Faith and reported to them what the Chief Priests and the elders had said.

Acts 4: (New American Standard Bible)
24 And when they heard this, they lifted their voices to God with one accord and said, “O Lord, it is You who MADE THE HEAVEN AND THE EARTH AND THE SEA, AND ALL THAT IS IN THEM,
25 who by the Holy Spirit, through the mouth of our father David Your servant, said,
‘WHY DID THE GENTILES RAGE, AND THE PEOPLES DEVISE FUTILE THINGS?
26’THE KINGS OF THE EARTH TOOK THEIR STAND, AND THE RULERS WERE GATHERED TOGETHER AGAINST THE LORD AND AGAINST HIS CHRIST.’
27 “For truly in this city there were gathered together against Your holy servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, along with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel,
28 to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose predestined to occur.
29 “And now, Lord, take note of their threats, and grant that Your bond-servants may speak Your word with all confidence,
30 while You extend Your hand to heal, and signs and wonders take place through the name of Your holy servant Jesus.”

And the result of that prayer?

Acts 4: (New American Standard Bible)
31 And when they had prayed, the place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness.

Verses 32 – 34 goes on to say of them that they were
Of one heart and soul
The apostles were with great power giving testimony to the resurrection of THE LORD JESUS
And there was not a needy person among them.

Sounds Radical. Sounds like what is missing today.

ABBA, help us repent in JESUS Name.

HIS,
Kathie

More info on going to T’loosa area: we will either camp in tents or stay in free housing (or both). We’be been offered dorm style housing free. We’re trying to get a large moving type truck for supplies. We can carpool together – got space. I’m going up Sunday or Monday to get with people to finalize plans. We may go to a smaller community that is being overlooked but needs help just as badly.

For supplies needed: water, canned foods, batteries, maybe tents/blankets, diapers and formula…. for starters. I’m checking today for tent donations. We’ll leave either Thursday late afternoon or Friday. Need chainsaws. Please send me your email if you want to come or send supplies so I can get info to you in more detail. Hope you will join us. Thanks so much.

Thanks, Kathie

Mid Friday Morning Hello

Ironing and watching Joyce Meyer.

And she quoted

Isaiah 40:(King James Version)
31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
via Isaiah 40:31 – Passage Lookup – King James Version – BibleGateway.com.

And I thought just a quick word to my Friends.

Wait upon the LORD and our strength shall be renewed.

Wait before Him before we open our mouths to others.

Wait before Him before we decide yes I will do that.

And the list goes on and on.

And our strength to live godly will be given us as we wait before the LORD.

Back to ironing and Joyce.

It’s a beautiful day.

Love you all — have a holy and happy weekend.
