Sitting in a Draft File
Let me say:
I see the motive behind this word picture
I scrolled across today on my Facebook feed.
We want to identify with others, we want to be honest, and we don’t want to appear all high and mighty like we have it all together.
But wait a minute, how encouraging is it really for a struggling soul to come to another soul struggling? What are we doing, comparing our battle wounds; comparing our defeats?
Doesn’t someone need to demonstrate there is Victory in JESUS?

Say About It
Day 21
Scripture – It’s Life and Alive.
Let us give thanks for The Word of GOD. Today and all of our days.
The Bible enlightens us, warns us, admonishes us, transforms us, comforts us, encourages us, corrects us, and gives us direction, instructions, and guidance as no other collection of words on a page.
What does the Father say about His Own Word?
A lot!
Here’s a sample. 1 Thessalonians 2:4 He will oppose himself to everything that people call a god or make an object of worship; he will put himself above them all, so that he will sit in the Temple of God and proclaim that he himself is God. source What does Father say to us? EVERYTHING!
1 John 5: 21 Children, guard yourselves against false gods! source The New American Standard version puts it this way: 21 Little children, guard yourselves from idols. source
i·dol 1. An image used as an object of worship.
2. A false god.
3. One that is adored, often blindly or excessively.
Even Free Dictionary dot com agrees that false gods are idols.
Wow!
