Is That a Knock?

As evil as is the Democratic Party Platform.
As evil as is the confessed mission of the BLM organization.
As evil as is the will of Antifa.
As evil as is Deep State.
As evil as is all these and all other sins practiced here in America, these are not the ultimate reasons (these are symptoms as to why) America is on the brink of destruction.

America is teetering on the precipice of the Abyss because of rampant unbelief and heinous apathy, not of the unsaved (altogether) but more particularly of those purportedly who say they are saved.
I have to wonder from what?
From what does the professing Church say She has been saved? Worldliness? Hardly!
It would be glorious if Deep State participants, both Political party members, Terrorist Organization members would come to their senses, turn from their sins, believe the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST, and be saved!   Hallelujah! That I would LOVE to see!

But I have to ask what have you seen lately that would cause unregenerate sinners to turn from sin and embrace JESUS?
Do you want to see happenings that would turn lost sinners from sin to JESUS?
What are YOU willing to do to see that happen?

Revelation 3: (NKJV)19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.
20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. source

Please consider Revelation 3:19 and 20 is speaking to the Church at Laodicea (also known as the Laodicean Church age). Did you notice JESUS is standing outside the door?

I have come to realize I would rather risk offending you than find you went to hell and there would have grounds to say I did not warn you about going to that place of torment.

Protecting One’s Domain

Do I have a treat for you today? My beloved has written a Word for us. I think you will like it.

This morning as I was reading my daily devotion, a thought came to me which of all things came from my friendly four-footed creature, better known as my dog, Sara.

The devotion I read this morning was about the pet of the writer, (a dog) which was chewing up a particular pillow on the couch. She would come home

for a number of days and find the pillow chewed apart and cotton all over the house. She would pick up the loose cotton put it back in its covering and sew it up.

This went on for several days and she realized that her sweet pet was going back to the same pillow and figuring out where the weak spot in the pillow

was and proceeded to rip it apart day after day. Enough is enough. Throw the old pillow away, buy a new one. Did it and the problem solved.

Now how does this relate to my dog? You see my Sara does not like foreign creatures in her domain. ie. possums, armadillos turtles, squirrels, and even snakes inside her living quarters.

The way she handles these creatures is to put them to sleep permanently or bark enough until I come outside and chase them away or move them to an area where they will not be a temptation to her anymore.

If only we as individuals would take a lesson from the devotion I read or my Sara to remove those things in our life that is a temptation to us. 

It is just as easy as getting rid of that old item in our life we keep going back to and keep chewing on, or do not let new sins creep into our domain.

Let us take that simple step, throw that old pillow away, and enjoy the comfort of that new pillow, (life) that has been purchased for us.

Next, if a new temptation tries to sneak into our domain (life), put it to sleep or keep barking, (praying) until you get help to put that out of your domain.

It is a simple thing, and He has told us that there is nothing too big or too small that He can’t take care of for us.

2020, Copy Paste Chew Again, Guests, You Tubes

I Reckon, Again.

I used to on occasion re-post my older devotions; back then a blank day of posting just couldn’t be. I’ve had many blank days since September 16, 2015.
So just for the good of it, here’s a repeat.

I reckon.

That’s what I heard Charles say. Charles Billingsley. I was watching/listening to a You Tube. Charles was in concert at a church in Macon, Georgia. And right about 30 minutes in he was encouraging the congregation and he said reckon. And I was off!

Some would say that’s a pretty southern word. It’s a godly word too. The Scripture passage I was thinking of was Romans 8:18. There Paul utilized it as an accounting term. Reckon. Count it. Count it as so. By the way in the KJV you will find Reckon 33 times. Here’s a link in case you want to check it out. HERE

Romans 8: 18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. [source]

And so we count and if we count it so, I reckon that reckoning will change how we live. And I reckon, I need to do some reckoning.

That Charles Billingsley you tube? You got an hour and 28 minutes?  I reckon it’s worth every minute I’ve invested. Perhaps you will too.

And a bit (translation: a few minutes) before the I reckon, he sings a song, and a certain portion of the lyrics is this: You wrapped my soul inside Your Arms.  I don’t know about you but upon hearing those words I was wrapped in love this morning; and not just me but I saw in those words my Girls wrapped in His Arms too. Don’t you reckon some worship was going on? :)

I Never Dreamed

A friend posted the following on her Facebook feed. She admits she did not author it but that it accurately describes her thoughts. Mine too.

I never dreamed that I would have to face the prospect of not living in the United States of America, at least not the one I have known all my life. I have never wished to live anywhere else. This is my home and I was privileged to be born here.

But today I woke up and as I had my morning coffee I realized that everything is about to change. No matter how I vote, no matter what I say, something evil has invaded our nation, and our lives are never going to be the same. I have been confused by the hostility of family and friends. I look at people I have known all my life so filled with hate that they will agree with opinions that if they were in their right minds they would never express as their own. It’s absolutely unbelievable. I think that I may well have entered the Twilight Zone…..then I saw this and I think that it’s pretty close to describing how I feel.

I’m not starting a fight, but it is something to think about. This may open up a ton of outraged comments by some. Many who will argue how “wrong” this post is. My suggestion, save your time and effort! You’re not changing the reality of what we are living by trying to somehow justify this insanity. Nevertheless, I couldn’t resist because we are becoming the Twilight Zone. We have become a nation that has lost its collective mind!

      • If a dude pretends to be a woman, you are required to pretend with him.
        • Somehow it’s un-American for the census to count how many Americans are in America.
        • Russians influencing our elections are bad, but illegals voting in our elections are good.
        • It was cool for Joe Biden to “blackmail” the President of Ukraine, but it’s an impeachable offense if Donald Trump inquires about it.
        • Twenty is too young to drink a beer, but eighteen is old enough to vote.
        • People who have never owned slaves should pay slavery reparations to people who have never been slaves.
        • Inflammatory rhetoric is outrageous, but harassing people in restaurants is virtuous.
        • People who have never been to college should pay the debts of college students who took out huge loans for their degrees.
        • Immigrants with tuberculosis and polio are welcome, but you’d better be able to prove your dog is vaccinated, or your child is vaccinated or they cannot attend school.
        • Irish doctors and German engineers who want to immigrate must go through a rigorous vetting process, but any illiterate gang-bangers who jump the southern fence are welcome.
        • $5 billion for border security is too expensive, but $1.5 trillion for “free” health care is not.
        • If you cheat to get into college you go to prison, but if you cheat to get into the country you go to college for free.
        • People who say there is no such thing as gender are demanding a female President.
        • We see other countries going Socialist (a rebranded word for Communist) and collapsing, but it seems like a great plan to some of you.
        • Some people are held responsible for things that happened before they were born, and other people are not held responsible for what they are doing right now.
        • Criminals are catch-and-released to hurt more people, but stopping them is bad because it’s a violation of THEIR rights.
        •People waving American flags at peaceful freedom rallies are considered dangerous and violent white nationalists who must be stopped yet anarchists who burn, loot, and deface property while burning the American flag are powerful youth exercising their first amendment rights.
        • And pointing out all this hypocrisy somehow makes us “racists”?!

Nothing makes sense anymore, no values, no morals, no civility and people are dying of a Chinese virus, but it is racist to refer to it as Chinese even though it began in China. We are clearly living in an upside down world where right is wrong and wrong is right, where moral is immoral and immoral is moral, where good is evil and evil is good, where killing murderers is wrong, but killing innocent babies is right, where darkness is light and light is now darkness.

Wake up America, the great unsinkable ship Titanic America has hit an iceberg, is taking on water and sinking fast. There’s only one life boat that can save you, and that is Jesus Christ. You can either get in or go down with the ship into the deep dark sea of eternal death. The choice is yours to make. What will it be? Time is short, make your choice wisely!
