I did not realize it had been so long since we have visited.

The extended Labor Day weekend was unusual for Hubby and me – we played . . . alone even. Just went and did stuff together – just us. It was fun!

I am starting a Bible Study tomorrow night at 7:00. It’s Men of the Bible. We are scheduled for 6 sessions, each Thursday night. Elisha is our first man. Prayers for my continued prep would be much appreciated. If you live nearby you are welcome to join us! Just EMAIL me for more information.

For today. For this Season in which we are living let us remember:

I have folks to bring to the altar today. Perhaps you do as well.

ABBA, thank You for allowing us the privilege of prayer. Thank You for growing us to be a grateful people. Thank You for loving us and making life worth the living. I am remembering a particular family we spent some time chatting with on Monday. You delighted us with that encounter! Thank You for allowing us to be a part of Your pursuit of them and I pray they will run right into You and surrender to Your Will for them, each of them. And Ann, You know the report we desire, we wait for You to reveal Your glory in this. And another test for Another is set to be taken – please no return of the former I pray. And Dori and Kerri and Pam, precious women. Please heal them. And Janet. Comfort for her please and the rest of the procedure to be textbook perfect. And Sharron. That her strength be meet for this day. Alex. Courage to move forward. And some others, ABBA. Many others. You know their names. And each One who comes here to read and join us in prayer, blessings and strength and power to live holy. And speaking of holy – America. Forgive us, JESUS, and save this country. And I ask for peace and safety for Israel and the subduing of Her enemies, America’s enemies too – domestic and foreign. ABBA, You birthed this Nation for Your Glory and the spreading of Your Gospel to the world – forgive us for leaving Your will. Please have mercy on we the people and bring us to repentance. You agreed with Abraham to spare Sodom and Gomorrah if ten righteous could be found; for the sake of the righteous in America – save this blessed Nation I pray and let us co-labor with You, ABBA. For as many that come here to pray and will pray in agreement, allow us the privilege of helping we the people return to You our First Love. Thank You, ABBA, in JESUS name and in the Ministry of the HOLY SPIRIT, thank You.

I said this verse aloud many times yesterday particularly at yesterday’s doings related to Chick-fil-A.

20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me, but God meant it unto good to bring to pass as it is this day, to save many people alive.

via Genesis 50:19-21 KJ21 – And Joseph said unto them, “Fear – Bible Gateway.

However, all my quoting was only part of the verse: what they mean for evil, God means for good.

And it is true. Proven out yesterday by the overwhelming amount of chicken sold! It was not about chicken. It’s about freedom.  And even those who have not said yes to JESUS yet understood that. Today, however, I am looking to the rest of that verse: to save many people alive.

Let us not forget that when ABBA turns the evil of the LEFT to good for the RIGHT, yes we enjoy that; yes, we want that; but, the greater purpose is to save many people alive. Let us not get in the way of that!

Tomorrow is purportedly set to be a day of protest. It is more than distasteful to me but I urge you if you happen to encounter a protester, please do NOT give them any additional reasons to ‘glory in their sin’.  Treat them with kindness, by no means condone their sin but in no way judge them beyond the realm of GOD to be saved. Do not damn them to hell before the time by any of your words or gestures.  For sure. For sure I am speaking most sternly to myself here. I am praying to be a shining example of the love and righteousness of JESUS CHRIST.  For you see the sin of homosexuality is offensive to me. It is offensive to me because it is offensive to my ABBA. I am compelled by Him to hate what He hates and love what He loves. He hates sin. He loves people.  And it is HE alone that can teach you and me to do as He does. I am urging us to allow Him to do this in us.

Let us cease to expect any of the peoples of this world to understand the Law and Love of GOD. (I Cor. 2:14) The reality of the Love and Law of GOD (they want the Love but not the Law) is foreign to any unregenerate mind. They cannot comprehend it and they never will unless CHRIST in us lights the way for them.  And we will NEVER light the way for them by condoning their sin or damning them in the here and now.

Now I confess to you, I don’t have a clue in this moment how to walk this out in the world out there. Here at my dining table it is easy to write what we must do. Out there where our feet hit the pavement is a different world. But our GOD is able. Let us decide here and now where it is safe that we will exalt and honor our Savior with our words and our deeds out there where the Evil One is seeking whom he may devour.

Let it not be us!!

14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.”

15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye not be consumed one by another.

16 This I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

ABBA, I so need help practicing Seeking You First and as I do I am certain in the moment You will give me words and deeds that will honor You and help our enemies find the road to repentance and salvation.  I pray for myself and for every dear one that comes here to read and to pray that You, HOLY SPIRIT, will encourage us and motivate us to seek You first today, all day.  LORD JESUS, and now we bring our sick and afflicted to You and we ask You to heal them. And we are not forgetting those who by their own testimony are rebellious and oblivious to You; thank You for not giving up on them and we pray they will yet be saved and rescued. And Israel. What a glorious future You have for them. Thank You. I look forward to see that day for them. And America. You love us so much. Thank You. Help us repent. HOLY SPIRIT, please raise up holy Statesmen and Heroes to lead the way.  Thank You, ABBA.

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.

That’s it.

That’s the first verse of the morning. It came to me early, even before opening my Bible. It came as I was already recounting something in my mind that I don’t have.  It came as a promise, but it also came as correction to me and I am grateful. Grateful for His tender watch-care over His little girl who He loves. And since I am writing this here, He is saying it to someone out there too.  :)

All these things shall be added to you. 

What things?

Well, what does ALL include?

Peace of mind? For sure.
Food, clothing, shelter, transportation? Without a doubt.
A balanced budget? Yep! that too.
Wisdom to deal with the hard stuff? Absolutely!
A way out of that temptation? You got it!
How about real practical stuff – like that sink of dishes; that pile of laundry; that required reading; that required writing; painting that wall; picking up that pile of rubbish; decluttering that corner . . .

What else?

What does ALL include? :)

But for the ALL we must do the FIRST.  And HE even helps us with the FIRST!  We must only choose.

ABBA, in this moment we are choosing; and we ask for the want to to choose You again in the next moment too. Thank You, JESUS, for Your Righteousness – You have made this offer and You have paid the price for it. Thank You.
And I am remembering Richard this morning – his surgery, so serious, ABBA, it has been a long haul for him and for Jeri and I pray today’s surgery will be the remedy to restore him; I ask You for a text-book perfect surgery and recovery for him and for peace for Jeri and holy company as she waits. All our others who are sick and afflicted we bring as friends bring friends to You for healing and as a father waits for his prodigal to come home we wait for our rebellious and even oblivious Ones to return. Israel, I pray for Your Peace for them and for the subduing of all Her enemies.  America. Please save us, ABBA. Please help us more forward by returning to You FIRST.

Is He Serious?

Before my eyes opened this morning, my mind was set on pondering clean hands.

Psalm 24:4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

via Psalm 24:3-5 KJV – Who shall ascend into the hill of the – Bible Gateway.

2 Samuel 22:21 “ The Lord has rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me.

via 2 Samuel 22:20-22 NASB – “He also brought me forth into a – Bible Gateway.

Job 17:9 The righteous also shall hold to his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger.

via Job 17:8-10 KJ21 – Upright men shall be astonished at – Bible Gateway.

Psalm 18:20 The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath He recompensed me.

via Psalm 18:19-21 KJ21 – He brought me forth also into a large – Bible Gateway.

James 4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

I think He is serious.

He wants us to clean our hands.

Clean hands is also a legal term. (check out the link below for even more defining)

The clean hands doctrine is a rule of law that someone bringing a lawsuit or motion and asking the court for equitable relief must be innocent of wrongdoing or unfair conduct relating to the subject matter of his/her claim.

And I believe the medical community will bear out that unclean hands will make you sick and spread disease.

It’s important to have clean hands.

Legally

Medically

Spiritually

Unclean spiritual hands spread sin – the most deadly of all diseases.

Got clean hands?

I pray, ABBA, that today I will surrender to Your wisdom that my hands be clean today. I pray for each One who comes here to read and pray that they too will submit to clean hands. I ask You, HOLY SPIRIT, to raise up Statesmen and Heroes in America who have clean hands. I pray for Israel for Her peace and for the subduing of all Her enemies.  And for our sick and afflicted, we bring them this morning asking You to heal them. And the Rebellious and Oblivious for whom we are much concerned, we ask that You tender their hearts and bring them to clean hands as well. Teach us, LORD, about clean hands and how to have them for Your glory and our good.
