I borrowed this from a Friend’s Facebook page. It’s TRUTH. And we have the opportunity to live it today and perhaps tomorrow. (See James 3:14)
Joshua 24:14-16 Amplified Bible (AMP)
14 Now therefore, [reverently] fear the Lord and serve Him in sincerity and in truth; put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the [Euphrates] River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord.
15 And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Today my beloved and I are painfully aware again that life is fragile. In a moment life is swallowed up and there’s an empty space. This time it’s in the backyard.
Susie.
We miss her. The backyard is bare without her. She was an exceptionally good companion. Playful. Excitable. Obedient most of the time. Non-malicious all the time. Unconditional love. That’s what she gave us. A yellow lab named Susie, her little heart so big with love went quiet today and our hearts are more than sad. As we gave her a resting place of honor in the side yard we thanked her and her Creator for the memories.
9 The Lord is good to all; He has compassion on all He has made.
We are glad you are here; stay a while, look around, and be encouraged. We estimate there to be over 3,000 posts here at The White Stone Blog. Please know my hope is ALWAYS to help and NEVER harm. I have voiced many opinions and thoughts here since 2007 and by now I MAY NOT EVEN AGREE with all of them and some of my grammar and punctuation likely needs editing. But this is changeless: JESUS is our ONLY Savior and Hope. Do you KNOW Him?
