Feet

How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! [source]
And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; [source]

Yesterday we looked at the word foundation. And today, ABBA, has us looking at feet. And perhaps asking are our feet taking us to places of peace? Are our feet taking us to places to deliver His Gospel of Good News to all Peoples?

ABBA, thank You for precious feet. Thank You for The Sure Foundation You laid from before the foundation of the world. Thank You, LORD YESHUA, for being our Foundation upon which You build beautiful lives. HOLY SPIRIT, help us yield to You for the building of our lives. And help us take responsibility for making sure our feet are shod with the preparation of Your Gospel and that we carry Your GOOD NEWS to all the people.
Again this morning I am remembering Leslie and asking that You reveal the cause and give the doctors a remedy for her pain. Terri and her family – I pray for healing; for lives to be made whole. And Others. Many Others. Emotional wounds – those inflicted with malice and those by neglect and preoccupation with other matters.  Chaotic lives that need the Gospel of Peace. Right decisions that are hard decisions. And thank You(s) for jobs well done. And Praise for abundant blessings. Praises that You work all things for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purposes.  Ray – grieving, not to circumvent his grief, ABBA, but that his grieving will bring his focus to You and what is his remaining mission; I pray he come to see that before too long. And for each Reader here I pray we all will take note of our feet today; that we choose carefully where we walk. And all this we bring in JESUS name. Amen and amen.

Peace

I expect to be brief this morning. A busy day is before me and it starts shortly.

But before I rush the door I want to share today’s praying theme:

Peace

It covers all my people. Whatever the need; whatever the station; whatever the season. Peace will cover it. Requesting peace with GOD for those who do not know Him yet. For others it is peace with one another; peace with and for our decisions; peace in finances; peace in illness and disease. PEACE.

Philippians 4:7

Thank You, ABBA. Thank You, HOLY SPIRIT, for theme praying; thank You for peace, LORD JESUS. Thank You, for hearing our prayers.  And specifically this morning for Brandon and Kim. Peace, ABBA. Peace in this illness as You heal him; peace for Kim as she waits for Brandon’s healing; peace with all that surrounds these days. Peace. Thank You, LORD. Thank You. And Peace now for each and every soul that comes here to read and to pray. Peace with You, peace in their families, peace in their work places, peace in their homes, peace in their finances, peace in their decisions. Peace, ABBA. And, HOLY SPIRIT, that we all have hearts to make peace, and live in peace for the glory and majesty of JESUS. Amen and           .

Root Rest

Suddenly as I was relating an incident to my beloved this morning, a message came that I am eager to write.  I want to see how it develops.

Snow.

Snow is our beta. If in keeping with our previous betas that would be S.T.  🙂  Each of them have been similar and yet different. I think Snow is the laziest one. And perhaps that is because we provided him with something that we did not provide the others.

A peace lily growing in his water.

I dropped food pellets in his water vase this morning and he barely noticed. Took one bite and went back to his root rest. You see the peace lily (plant) is such that he can swim into a space within the roots just beneath the water and just rest and sleep; when he needs a fresh whiff of air he can just lift his ‘head’ gulp and then lower again to continue his resting. And were it not for this morning’s happening I could think oh the poor thing he is old and infirmed.

Not so.

Not sure what possessed me but this morning, I lifted the peace lily from the water leaving Snow with no place to rest and he began to devour the food pellets. I’ve never seen him each so much! Two pinches of pellets!!

So I replaced the peace lily and he returned to his root rest.

What’s the lesson?

Truthfully, I am not so worried about Snow’s resting. He’s a fish!  It’s not like he can raise a family, build a city, and preach the gospel in his vase world.      Or can he?? 🙂

But people? Excluding real infirmities, of course, are not people prone to laziness as is Snow?

If the ‘root rests’ were pulled out from under them perhaps they would work. You think?

Multiple scenarios are coming to mind – adults and children alike.

2 Thessalonians 3:The Message (MSG)
6-8 Our orders—backed up by the Master, Jesus—are to refuse to have anything to do with those among you who are lazy and refuse to work the way we taught you. Don’t permit them to freeload on the rest. We showed you how to pull your weight when we were with you, so get on with it. We didn’t sit around on our hands expecting others to take care of us

I think from time to time for Snow’s own good I pull his root rest and force him to swim before he eats.

Thoughts? Comments? Actions, anyone?

We have the Right to do right in this wrong World,
Snow waiting for the water treatment to work so he can get back to root resting.

Ahh!

I See It

Oh my goodness DADDY GOD is speaking this morning in the voice of my Journey devotional magazine.

It spoke of a woman praying for her son. A son making unhealthy choices. She was desperate. She was afraid. And she was praying. Look in on her with me.

“One morning, as I sat on my bed desperately praying for him, I pictured myself bursting into God’s throne room, tugging on His robe like an impatient child, and insisting, “Do something!”

It seemed almost disrespectful to demand that the God of the universe answer my request now. But as He calmed the rush of my emotion, I had a greater sense that He was at work even if I couldn’t see it —  . . .   . “

I can see that! I can see our Awesome ABBA, giving His beloved child such a picture on the screen of her mind.  I see it!  And oh I love Him for it!

I am comforted, I am strengthened, I am in peace, that He is gracious ABBA working even when I don’t see with my eyes what He is doing and yet my little girl heart knows that DADDY GOD is always good, always kind and always right in every thing He does — everything!

She also said:

“What a gift it is when God makes us aware of the unseen, even if it’s only through a gentle whisper to our troubled heart, I’m working on it. Trust Me.

What a gift indeed!  A gift I have received today. Here — I believe ABBA is offering it to you too.   🙂

Psalm 145:17-18 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
17 The LORD is righteous in all His ways And kind in all His deeds.
18 The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth.

Sweet JESUS Blessings upon you today – Go with HIM today, even when those you love most do not.
