Abba, this life sucks the life out of people; it always has but we are noticing it more this year.
I am wondering today though if I have done enough in this life-draining year of 2020 to show people that YOU ARE THE GIVER OF LIFE still even in this year.
And I think I’ve not been as encouraging as I could have been.
Please forgive me and I pray my brothers and sisters will forgive me too.
 
You love us no less in this COVID year.
You are no less FULL of Power and Authority in this COVID year.
You are no less JUST in this year of more visible corruption.
You hate sin and injustice no less in this year.
You are not lazy or slow or apathetic in this year, but I am, please forgive me.
YOU have NOT changed even though our day-to-day breathing in and out of earth’s air has changed – a change we don’t like.
But who are we, who am I to complain when I know this world is not my Home?
YOU have provided a HOME for me and YOU have assured me YOU will get me safely there when it is ready for me.
What in this world do I have to worry about, fuss about, or be afraid of?
Good questions, huh?
Thank YOU for reminding me.
YOU are so good to me.
YOU alone are AWESOME. Thank You.
So, I pray for the will to love You and People more and more. I pray to rest easy in Your Love and Faithfulness to me, to do what YOU tell me, and wait for YOU to deal with what I cannot.
Amen and amen in The Name of the Only Wise and Holy GOD, Adonai Yeshua.

Of reality.

This life drains the life out.

What do I have to live for some are asking in this COVID nightmare? 
Others try to go along to get along pretending the nightmare is temporary.
It’s not temporary if it continues. And who gets to decide when it ceases to continue?
The ones who started it?
And what gives evidence they want it to stop?
The Power Ones are virtually unaffected. They get the same paycheck. They fly the same airplanes. They eat the same rich foods. They drink the same fine wine. They have the same employees to fetch for them. 
Why would they lift their thumbs?
And with all this — where is the average, common Sue and Robert? 

This is our world for those without GOD. 

Revelation 6

25 Once I was young, and now I am old. Yet I have never seen the godly abandoned or their children begging for bread. source

A Certain Widow

Luke 21

Luke 21 (NKJV) 1 And He looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury, 
2 and He saw also a certain poor widow putting in two mites. 
3 So He said, “Truly I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all; 
4 for all these out of their abundance have put in offerings for God, but she out of her poverty put in all the livelihood that she had.”  source

The Text does not say just any widow but a certain widow. A poor widow. This is what we know about her. A Certain Poor Widow that Gave. 

And from this, I see that GOD pays attention.
The Penman, Luke, was not moved to tell us her name but he did use the word certain. Meaning GOD knew for certain who she was.
And surely there were other widows in Jerusalem. But this certain widow GAVE.  She gave out of lack, not plenty.  Others made much noise as their coins flooded the coffers. (Perhaps the Temple Vessels looked something like these pictured – or not.)
Her offering likely made little noise.  She quietly gave all she had. 

And GOD noticed. 

I think He still does.
