Permanent

This brings us to prayer; for ourselves and our families.
It is natural; it does not go against the natural flow of breathing to concentrate on temporary things – things of this earth that will not, do not last.

Things that are necessary to live here but even so are temporary.
And so we are instructed with this verse to
FIX.
We are instructed to Fix our eyes, our focus, attention, affection, direction, on The Eternal.

This does not naturally occur – it takes an earnest, dedicated decision and FEW make that decision.

So if you have fixed your eyes on The Eternal, it is imperative and it is love to pray for your family and friends that are still focused on the temporary to turn from the temporal to GOD permanently.

Listen Up, Y’all

John 12 is too wonderful, too large, too great for me to even comment on at this moment.

If you have not read it today — would you please before you lay your head on your pillow?
You can even open YouVersion app on your phone and have it read to you.
Or even listen below.

Good evening my friends.

I Need to Pray with You

Father GOD, thank You that You shall yet send The LORD of GLORY to this earth again; that He will live and reign here as He deserves, and thank You for every son and daughter that will see that glorious day.
Holy Spirit, I have read that it is Your will and Your mission to convict and convince humans of sin, of righteousness and judgment to come, I pray, I pled for You to do this for the many people loved by not only myself but all who come here to read and pray. I do not pretend to know Your timing; I do not pretend to know the future timing of those things You have told us shall be, I wait for You to do as You have promised and warned that You would. I am aware that people are perishing daily. Even so, I know that is not Your will for You have said it is not Your will that any should perish. So thank You for Your mercy, thank You for Your gifts of conviction and repentance; thank You for seeking out the Lost, thank You for rescuing every willing soul from pits of sin. I pray, Father, to see a harvest of souls. I pray to see people rescued and delivered from the kingdom of darkness into Your glorious Light.  Amen and amen based solely on the Merits of JESUS the MESSIAH.

John 16:8
2 Peter 3:9
2 Corinthians 4:4

This is the GOD to whom we pray:

How could we not?
How could we not seek Him?
What could be more than HE?

Count the Times

Psalm 22

Penned by David. Read by YESHUA and it speaks of YESHUA.

I have to think as David penned the Psalm he was experiencing deep angst.
And I have to think as JESUS read this Psalm as the GODMAN, He knew He would experience the separation, the agony as written.

1 My God, my God, why have You forsaken me?
Far from my help are the words of my groaning.
source

Matthew 27:46 King James Version
46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

Mark 15:34 King James Version
34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

Do you recognize the Voice?
Me too!

Verse 3 (or 4 depending on your translation) speaks volumes to me.

4 (3) Nevertheless, you are holy, enthroned on the praises of Isra’el. Source

The verse before describes crying out to GOD and getting no answer – oh what trust it takes to cry and for a moment or two or longer, get no answer and STILL be willing to say Nevertheless, You are holy!

The world needs to see Christians like this!

I hope you will read this Psalm and when you do, take note; look carefully, how many times do you see JESUS in Psalm 22?
