Why was Mary blessed?
Because she trusted that the promise GOD made to her would be fulfilled.
How are we blessed? When we trust GOD, when we trust the promises HE has made to us HE will fulfill.
Isaiah 53:11-12 Complete Jewish Bible 11 After this ordeal, he will see satisfaction. “By his knowing [pain and sacrifice], my righteous servant makes many righteous; it is for their sins that he suffers. 12 Therefore I will assign him a share with the great, he will divide the spoil with the mighty, for having exposed himself to death and being counted among the sinners, while actually bearing the sin of many and interceding for the offenders.” source
After this ordeal, He will see satisfaction.
Hebrews 12:2 King James Version
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.source
For the joy that was set before Him —
Do you see it? It was foretold in Isaiah and confirmed again and again; like here in Hebrews.
That joy, that satisfaction was procuring our salvation.
