Just a brief hello.
Days have been full. Evenings too.
Temps have been cool and down-right cold some nights and early mornings.
And other days, children could be seen playing wearing short sleeves and shorts.
That’s Lower Alabama in February.
A Word for today — and the following days.
Good Saturday morning!
I have a recipe for you.
J and I tried it last night. We like it enough to make it again and again.
Marry Me Chicken
You read that right.
These are the ingredients.
Click the link below for the recipe.
If you try it, let us know.
Friday afternoon has arrived in Lower Alabama.
Yes, still in John 5.
And so I just have a note to share from verse 44.
44 How can you trust? You’re busy collecting praise from each other, instead of seeking praise from God only. source
The LORD said this to lost people, religious people, but lost all the same.
I am thinking it helps me to judge myself with this verse, not as a lost one, but as an indicator, a guide of conduct as His Disciple.
To watch myself and see if I am seeking to please people or perhaps eyeing the praise of people and if I am, then I know I am not trusting GOD properly for affirmation, and guidance.
So, with this I can only say, Thank You, LORD, for this Word, and please forgive me and help me to remember this passage, always seeking You only in all things.
That’s it for this time.
