This is the Father’s Will; our minds to be changed from our will to His. Good. Pleasing. Perfect. (I better understand perfect to be mature). I’m not looking for my mind or body to reach perfection in this mortal life but I am aiming for some maturity to come to both!
I found one other pic I’d like to share with you. What do you think?
Though many brothers and sisters may sow into your life with Truth, Biblical doctrine, and abundant kindness, it is JESUS you (and I) must follow. Follow Him so closely that when He pauses on the path, we bump into Him. 😊
If you refer back to Luke 15:6, you will read the same words: “Rejoice with me.”
If you move on in the chapter, next you will read the Parable of the Prodigal Son. Perhaps you will notice, as I did today, that the older brother didn’t rejoice with his father or his brother. He had his facts, perhaps even true facts, but it was not a time for discussing what had been; it was time to rejoice over right now.
We would do well to learn to rejoice with the godly good that comes to our brothers and sisters. When they come with meaningful words, words that have infused light into their eyes and sparkle in their countenance, rejoice with them. Give them those moments of delight. Don’t move on too quickly – take some time to rejoice with them.
We are glad you are here; stay a while, look around, and be encouraged. We estimate there to be over 3,000 posts here at The White Stone Blog. Please know my hope is ALWAYS to help and NEVER harm. I have voiced many opinions and thoughts here since 2007 and by now I MAY NOT EVEN AGREE with all of them and some of my grammar and punctuation likely needs editing. But this is changeless: JESUS is our ONLY Savior and Hope. Do you KNOW Him?
