Strong Language

Then Yeshua told his talmidim a parable, in order to impress on them that they must always keep praying and not lose heart.  source 

Our English word for talimidim is Disciples. 
In our subject verse, there is a word I don’t want us to miss. It is MUST. 
It’s not a suggestion. It’s not merely good advice to take or leave. 
No, it is a command — we MUST always keep praying, and even when we do we MUST also determine to NOT lose heart. 
And so we practice. 

Verse 8. He asked a question. 

8 . . .   But when the Son of Man comes, will he find this trust on the earth at all?”  source 

Will HE? 

If we pray and refuse to lose heart — He will. 

And moving on in the chapter we come to children. It is the account of people bringing their children to YESHUA and the Disciples rebuked the parents. JESUS corrected them immediately. 

16 However, Yeshua called the children to him and said, “Let the children come to me, and stop hindering them, because the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these. source 

Let’s light here for a bit. 
Bringing children to JESUS. 
Do NOT hinder children from coming to JESUS.

Does this happen today? 
I think it does. 
People and parents HINDER their children from coming to JESUS. 

How?
By not going to HIM themselves for one. 
Another way – saying they have Come to JESUS but living like they have not. 
No parent or person ever lives for JESUS without obedience to Scripture and it is a day-after-day discipline. 

The evil one, all his unholy helpers, and even the world’s people hate our children. 
Do you think that is strong language?
Read your Bible and if you can tolerate it watch just a few minutes of  Mainstream Media.
All the aforementioned hate children and are making it their business to be sure OUR children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren DO NOT come to JESUS.
This world’s systems are set up, designed, and operate to hinder anyone from coming to JESUS in saving faith (trust); and children are the MAIN target. 

The WORST act a parent or person can commit against a child is to hinder or prevent that child from saving faith in JESUS The CHRIST. 

And parents if we do not actively engage with JESUS ourselves and actively seek to engage our children with JESUS – not the JESUS we are taught in many ‘churches’ today but the Real JESUS of the Bible – these children may easily grow into CHRIST-rejecting adults who die in their sins and miss GOD for eternity.  

As parents, NO job, mission, opportunity, privilege, or obligation is more important than bringing our children to JESUS. 

So how are you/we going to do that?

Prayer and not losing heart. 
By obedience to the Scripture.
By living a godly, holy life — a life they can SEE, trust, feel and KNOW. 
By refusing to provoke them to anger but rather by bringing them to JESUS.   See Colossians 3:21 and Ephesians 6:4

Are you unclear about what it means to not provoke them to anger?
Then Read Scripture and Pray until GOD makes it clear to you. 
For the LIFE of your children do NOT ask the unsaved people of the world for their advice!  Bible-verses-and-scripture-quotes-about-fathers-1000x525

An Opinion Piece

Satan has been given a superhighway in America (and the world I would imagine) to our children: the Public School Systems, from nursery school to acquiring a Ph.D.
More from me following the article (pictures).  

I would to GOD that His adult Children would take Him seriously with the lives of their children and remove them from the clutches of this present public school system (particularly nursery school – high school).
I would rejoice to see Christian teachers leave the public school systems (taking their children) in favor of public-private-like school systems, void of government funds, input, or influence – to give our children a surviving/thriving chance to discover their potentials and excel in a safe environment.

(Now to Christian teachers who have found a way around the corrupt system wherein they work and are consistently able to pray with their students, talk to them about Jesus, share Scripture with them, and are daily speaking LIFE into their students, by all means, stay put.)

I cannot be the only person who dreams of Educational Systems all over this Land largely funded by the People of GOD who love children enough to give their time and money to provide them with facilities of learning, teaching from a Biblical World View. I am not suggesting FREE tuition but affordable tuition; a means for all children whose parents would agree and are seeking a Biblical World View Education, to come and learn.
But until such facilities are available – Homeschooling of various composites is the best option.
I am told by those who do – it can be done.
I expect to every family to whom it is sacrificially important, GOD WILL MAKE A WAY.

Anyone who thinks GOD does not care about education – well, that’s not the GOD I know. 

Finally, given the present climate, we cannot expect the established public system to improve – it’s time to create something new, fresh, and brimming with LIFE.

I told you this was an opinion piece. 

Perhaps There is Time

First I am set to remind you, those of you who might not know me well enough, I am neither a Scholar nor a Theologian, barely a Layperson. Today’s post is a WHAT IF post. A What if for you to consider prayerfully. A What If post that I hope encourages you to dig for yourself. That’s what I am doing. I dare say many may not like this post. I surely don’t. Let’s begin.

What if learned Scholars and well-studied Theologians have missed the message of Scripture? 
What if what we have believed is not actually borne-out in Scripture? 
What if The Rapture of the Church is not any day now?
What if The Rapture of the Church is not until Revelation 11?
I’m not saying it is, I’m saying What if?
I’m still mulling it over; still asking Adonai to talk to me about it.

What would it mean if this What If is what will be? 
Perhaps you have read my suggestion that 2020 is a trailer to the Tribulation. A means for us to gain more clarity on how the coming days will play. 
If The Rapture is not until after the Last Trumpet, that means we (unless we die prior) will see The Mark of the Beast. UNLESS, of course, the Last Hour is still many years away. 

I am wondering how faithful, how strong would I be? How strong would you be?
Many Churches closed their doors because the Government said close.
The Government said, isolate, put on a mask, shut down your businesses, stay home. 
We did.
We did that for a virus that has at its least rate of survival for aged persons with one or more comorbidities a 94.5% survival rate.  (And don’t forget the Vaccine. It’s already mandatory for some.) 
I am confident what we have done so far is not equal to the Mark of the Beast, but it should tell us something about who we are, shouldn’t it?
How would we tell the Government no I will not let you put that chip in my hand? No, I will not bow to the god of this world even if you starve my children and me to death. The survival rate then is not 94.5%. And surely not 99.997%.
For those caught refusing, 100% die. 

What if? What if many, many of us have been wrong? 
Should we not today start preparing? 
How do we even prepare for such an unthinkable event? 
That’s a good question. 

We have believed, many of us, that this passage is not talking about us because we have believed we won’t be here. What if we are? 
I’m not learned enough to argue either way today. I thought I was. Now I am not so sure. Shouldn’t I be? Shouldn’t you be?  

Revelation 12:11  (AMP) 11 And they overcame and conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, for they did not love their life and renounce their faith even when faced with death. source

I do know this: it is not The LORD’s will for us to be afraid of this.
It is not The LORD’s will that we be sad, borrow trouble, have downcast faces and worried spirits.
It is His Will for us to overcome TODAY by the Word of our Testimony that The Blood of JESUS is enough to cleanse and save a wretch like any of us. 

One more question. How much Scripture do we have sealed in our minds that we could call on it, lean on it and be embolden with it even if we didn’t have a cellphone to look it up or a Bible to hold in our hands to read?
I confess I am lacking BUT perhaps we have a few years to study and show ourselves approved. 

Up and Coming

I’ve done some deep ponderings this morning spanning years reaching back to the late 1800s when my great grandparents, Sallie and James, breathed younger air. I hope that is right, all I remember hearing people call him was Pappy. Sallie, I am sure of but Mammy was her handle. I don’t remember the year of the birth of my grandmother Callie. It could have been 1899 or so but maybe not as her firstborns were born in 1924;  my Momma and her twin.

Generations of the Living. How we do that living is more important than we often ponder. I’m now 67, in less than half a year that number will be 68. In these 67 years I have seen seven, yes seven (7), generations of my people walking this Earth’s crust – well, James not so much walking yet. 🥰 And I pondered these generations of my people and our kin – gosh! there’s a lot of us! I have not even a good estimate as to who were church-goers and who was not. Reaching back that far I don’t even know the names of all my kin, let alone if they loved JESUS. But of this conclusion I am certain, watching the years that I have – if you go to church and don’t take church home with you to do as Deuteronomy 6 commands, you open the floodgates of hell to deluge your children and your children’s children and your children’s children’s children to the 4th and 5th, maybe even 7th generation and beyond. We all are built upon what was built and JESUS CHRIST is the only safe, solid, strong and steady foundation that will give our Babies a fighting chance. If we violate Deuteronomy 6:4-9, the hedge is down.

But the good news is we can start Today to put that Hedge in place for those up and coming and we can pray for miracles for us old folks. 🥰
