Zip, Zip, Zip

The days are zipping by!

Hot, cold, warm, and cool all these temps with only hours or days separating.
It’s crazy but you know what — It’s not new.
There’s nothing new under the sun.

Seasons, trends, conditions, etc. come and go. And sooner or later everything old becomes new again — except for these frail bodies we inhabit.
Even facelifts and parts lifts do not stop the process of death we were born into. Yikes! I didn’t see that coming when I started this paragraph.
Oh well, it is what it is.

What has been is what will be,
what has been done is what will be done,
and there is nothing new
under the sun.
10 Is there something of which it is said,
“See, this is new”?
It existed already in the ages before us.   source

Lets Go Fishing

People.
People everywhere are too busy with the mundane to give attention to The Supreme – The Creator GOD.

I see people so in love with this world and all that glitters that they are blind to the Beauty of YESHUA, JESUS The CHRIST.
So blind, so dazzled, that IF they see any Jesus at all, it is the false Jesus that has no firmness, no power to transform them from darkness to Light.

People everywhere, breathing, walking, but dead – dead in their sins.

And then there is this.
People.
How can people who say they know and love The Messiah be so flippant and nonchalant about people acting out abominations day after day? Are they walking dead as well while professing they have been made alive?

How can I say that you may ask?
By this dear one.

How can a soul who has been delivered from sin, death, hell, and the grave be so uncommitted as to watch another person sin away their temporal opportunity to circumvent hell, while they say that’s their choice – They have the right to live however they choose – It’s none of my business?

Where’s the burden for the lost?
Where’s the love that is willing to sacrifice comfort to pull another human being from a burning building and CERTAIN death?

ALL who have been redeemed – that is saved from sin, death, hell, and the grave did not our Savior say we would be fishers of men (mankind)?887175_orig
Do not real fishermen take fishing seriously?
Do they not gather all their equipment, go to the lake, river, creek, or ocean, and cast a line?
Do they not wait patiently?
Do they not coax that fish with all they got?
Do they not yearn to catch a fish?

Get the picture?

I have to come to this conclusion people who do not care what other people do and how they live, desperately need to find out if they themselves have been caught by The Savior?

So I must ask whether there is any movement in your being that is telling you, you need to be delivered from your sins?

If there is I urge you to ask GOD for mercy, get a Bible, and start reading NOW the Gospel according to JOHN.  Here let me give you a LINK to get started.

And to all who are certain of your Redeemer and your redemption, will you not at every prompting of Holy Spirit, cast some Bread on the water?

Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days. (KJV) Ecclesiastes 11:1

11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth —
it will not return to me unfulfilled;
but it will accomplish what I intend,
and cause to succeed what I sent it to do.”  source
(as always read the whole chapter)

One more thing. See this picture?
What do you see?

Guess What

Guess what.
An attitude of gratitude makes housework easier.

I’m not kidding. I proved it today.

There were floors to dust mop, toilets to clean, sinks, countertops, dishes to wash, laundry, cooking  – you know those endless tasks. Endless because we do them over and over again. And we can complain about it – a lot.
But why?

Did not The LORD tell us whatever we put our hands to do, to do it for Him?

Hey now, we can dust mop floors, clean counters, and all that other stuff already listed with a thankful heart.
Giving thanks that we can fellowship with JESUS while doing these things AND we can give thanks that we have floors and a roof and people on those floors, beneath that roof that we love.

AND we can train our children in the process (because yes they need to be taught to clean too). We can give praise out loud to our Gracious LORD as we work alongside those little ones – helping them with toys and clothes and whatever tasks they are ready to learn.  It will take holy practice for them and us!

Believe it or not, Scripture does not say: cleanliness is next to godliness. However, if we look around at Creation we can easily see that our Creator is The GOD of orderliness, tidiness, etc.

I really expect Heaven is beautiful, clean, and tidy.
I think I best practice till I get there!   🙂

We were made for this,

Day 23

Day 23 of The Giving of Thanks.

Hearing.
Actually, all our five senses. Seeing. Smelling. Tasting. Touching. Hearing.
The ability to hear.
What a gift!
Whether it be the slightest of sounds like a larger than usual earring smoothly gliding over your neck, the chime of the Grandfather clock standing stately against the wall, the squeal of a two-year old that you love more than your next breath, the yelp of your Lab as you step out the door, the chirping of your phone, that special one or two sounds because it’s your Girls calling, or even a YouTube streaming a favored song.
Let me not be remiss here – I must mention spiritual hearing – hearing the Voice of GOD – sweetly, correctively, encouragingly, or declaring to our cold, afraid soul, His warmth and security.

John 10:27  (NKJV) 27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. source

Ecclesiastes 12:13  (AMP) 13 When all has been heard, the end of the matter is: fear God [worship Him with awe-filled reverence, knowing that He is almighty God] and keep His commandments, for this applies to every person. source

Now for a favored hearing from YouTube.
It’s special.

On her 12th Christmas, Baby Girl gifted me with the playing of Fur Elise on our old upright piano. This Momma cried happy tears that Christmas morning.
This is not Baby Girl’s playing but it’s still a pleasure.
Enjoy. 🙂

Time

Time? What time is it for you?

Ecclesiastes 3  (TLV) 1 For everything there is a season
and a time for every activity under heaven:
a time to give birth and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted;
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build up;
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance;
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing;
a time to seek and a time to lose,
a time to keep and a time to discard;
a time to tear apart and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak;
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.  source

Is there something you need to do while there is still time? Something you know the Holy Spirit through His Word is calling you to do?
No time like the present.
