These two words I noticed in this passage today. Perhaps for the first time – together.
Mark 2:1-5
What would you do if that was your roof? What did HE do?
Until next time, Kathie

Finding an image for the word herald is not easy;
online information falls short of the dignity and importance of this word but GOD doesn’t.
Just yesterday a dear sister in the LORD and I were talking, and she reminded me that we have been grafted in (see Romans 11:11-31) and as I read Scripture when Zion is addressed, depending on the context, I can take that personally.
This morning, there was Zion.
Look with me at a verse in Isaiah, chapter 40, verse 9.
9 Go up on a high mountain, O Zion, herald of good news. Raise your voice loudly, O Jerusalem, herald of good news. Lift it up, do not be afraid! Say to the cities of Judah, “Here is your God!” Link
I am a herald and what a message!
GOD loves you and He has forgiveness for you and deliverance from sin — will you receive Him and His gift to you?
In a nutshell that is what we Heralds are to herald.
It’s not just good news, it’s the best news ever!
So what do Heralds look like . . . got a mirror?
Friends, the morning’s about gone . . . till next time, this is Kathie heralding to you that GOD loves you and He has a gift, many gifts for you. Will you respond with YES?
Thinking. Reflecting.
I think I have forgotten more than I remember of the Goodness of the LORD to me this year.
Yet this one in particular stays with me.
Reading from Genesis to maps.
I’m ready next for Psalm 119.
This reading through has been one of the sweetest treasures in my Journey of 72, almost 73 years. Just the gift of sticking with it; of seeing it through, not giving up even on those occasions when I have missed a day or two. Of picking up that precious book, finding that golden ribbon that marks the place, and carrying on.
Perhaps we carry on (stick with it) because we carry a Precious Treasure in these earthen vessels. 😊
The gift of sticking with it!
Happy Saturday my Friends.

Good morning.

I am convinced all sickness and disease are due to sin, the original Fall in the Garden, but I think NOT that all illness and disease are due to unforgiveness. I am reminded of when the Disciples asked JESUS who sinned to cause this sickness (blindness) and He said neither the man nor his parents. John 9:2-3.
Even so, unforgiveness is a major sin and causes all kinds of sicknesses. We should be careful about this. We should pray.
Shalom, Kathie
