And What Of?

Earlier this month I told you of a new friend; she said: “He corrected my thinking with Truth!” Click HERE to read the post. 

She has a book, available on-line (for free) and I’ve been reading it. What on Earth is Heaven Like.  Perhaps you would like to check it out HERE. I admire my new friend and her work; her diligence to study the Word inspires me to pray for such a hunger and thirst for ABBA and His Word for myself and others. 

And what of this place; this New Heaven and New Earth? 

12 as you wait for the Day of God and work to hasten its coming. That Day will bring on the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt from the heat; 13 but we, following along with his promise, wait for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness will be at home.
14 Therefore, dear friends, as you look for these things, do everything you can to be found by him without spot or defect and at peace.

And how can we hasten that day? And when will that day come? Do the research for yourself but Scholars have set forth that Yeshua will return in power to rule and reign when Israel says:

39 For I tell you, from now on, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of Adonai.’”

There is a future! And it is greater than we can even imagine. May our excitement and anticipation build and may we pray for the coming of ADONAI, welcomed by His chosen people. There is much work to do before that day; I hardly know how to take off in that direction, but I am comforted and encouraged that He knows the way.  Your prayers are welcomed. Blessings my Friends!

I happened upon a website today that I’d like to share with you. We are counseled again and again by leaders of the Christian Faith to pray for the Peace of Israel. It is Scriptural.

6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:

via Psalm 122:5-7 KJV;CJB – For there are set thrones of judgment, – Bible Gateway.

How many facets of Peace for Israel can we pray for? Many. I hope you will carefully consider the PDF that I am attaching hereto. It can also be found on the website I visited today: Jerusalem Prayer Team. There is a Live Feed from the Kotel (Western Wall) on the website. It is a connection I treasure.

In the above linked PDF written by Dr. Mike Evans, among the many prayers offered, I found this one:
“Lord of Glory, as evil hearts devise wickedness against Your Holy City, I pray that You will cause their knees to bow before You. In the place where You have set Your Name, bring peace around Your throne. Even so come and bring peace to this earth.”  (page 5)

And this one:
“God of battles, You selected Jerusalem from all the cities of the earth as the place to establish Your name forever. You chose Your servant David as the leader and defender of Your people. Keep Your covenant with him today and arise to defend Jerusalem from destruction.” (page 4)

And one more I’ll share here with you:
“God of Heaven and earth, protect the schools and the school children who are being targeted by enemy terrorists. Watch over the families who trust in Your name. Provide jobs and sufficient income for every family and reveal to them that it is by Your mercy and grace alone so they may come to believe in You, the One True God and Your Son Messiah Yeshua, in Jesus’ Name!”  (page 8)

ABBA, thank You for leading us; thank You for loving us, and thank You for giving us the privilege to pray for Israel, for the Body of Christ, and for the Peoples of the world.  As we gather here there are troubled hearts, wounded souls, illnesses, and diseases of sundry kinds, and so we come trusting You to heal and make new in Yeshua’s Mighty name.

I’m still slowly working in my James Study Guide (Beth Moore) and every day I come to it that’s what I need for the time.  Today we read:

7 Therefore, submit to God. Moreover, take a stand against the Adversary, and he will flee from you. 8 Come close to God, and he will come close to you. Clean your hands, sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded people!

And this:

26 come to their senses and escape the trap of the Adversary, after having been captured alive by him to do his will.

Now verse 26 in context is speaking of people who are yet unbelievers but in context with Day 3 it is in my face.  Come to your senses and escape the trap of the Adversary. Come to my senses about what? Anything and everything that is troubling, gnawing, frustrating, baffling, — you get the idea?

I love You.  As a dear sister-friend used to say,  Take a reading on our hearts, see others there, their needs, and mine, and do as You will in JESUS’ name.
