The A and The Z

My first inkling of this post was First and Last, but I think that will not do as I’m not certain it was the first and I cannot be absolutely certain it will be the last. What am I talking about?
This.

I found it this morning.

These lilies have been sparse this year.  So, to find one in mid-November is a treat for me. One I sincerely appreciate.
I’m giving thanks.

Yet, I’d be remiss if I did not speak of the true and certain First and The Last, now wouldn’t I?

And perhaps you think I will go straight to Revelation. I thought that too but a word search took me to other addresses.

Would you believe Isaiah?

Isaiah 48:12 New Living Translation  12 “Listen to me, O family of Jacob,  Israel my chosen one! I alone am God, the First and the Last.  source

Any questions?  Like who is this First and Last?
As is always a safe and accurate guideline: Let Scripture interpret Scripture.

The One and Only Yeshua HaMashiach. Perhaps you call Him Jesus the Christ.

Only Jesus

Hi, Y’all.

Isaiah 53.

I hope you will read the Passage – all of it.

But for this posting let me direct you to verse 9.

He was given a grave among the wicked; in his death he was with a rich man.  Although he had done no violence and had said nothing deceptive,   source

Although He had done no violence – we expect that, right? And we expect the next too but think deeply when you read it: and had said NOTHING deceptive.
Nothing.
Not a word.
Not a phrase.
Not a clause.
Not a sentence of anything but the TRUTH did He speak for 33 1/2 years.
Make that forever.
Because He is STILL telling us the truth. He is still never deceiving us.

And you can say that of NO other person in ALL of Eternity – only JESUS, only The Triune GOD – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Please know your honest questions are welcome here, via comment or email.

Quick and Simple

Just a quick and simple word this morning.

All is not lost IF today, you, me, we will turn from our way TO His way.

18 “Come now,” says Adonai, “let’s talk this over together. Even if your sins are like scarlet, they will be white as snow;
even if they are red as crimson, they will be like wool.  source

If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just [true to His own nature and promises], and will forgive our sins and cleanse us continually from all unrighteousness [our wrongdoing, everything not in conformity with His will and purpose] source
