Updates

I have two updates my friends since my requests for prayer on Wednesday.

Our much-loved Jamie took flight for HOME on Wednesday evening. She is well now. JT and I were able to tell her we love her and give JESUS praise over her before she transitioned from here to Heaven. Her family was with her when she departed; they are rejoicing that she is no longer in pain but you and I know that the missing will be hard; so please pray for them.  Jamie was an extraordinary Christian! And I do mean extraordinary. There was nothing mediocre about Jamie’s faith and love for JESUS and others! I do not understand the healing there instead of here but this I know GOD is good and He is kind.

17 The Lord is righteous in all His ways and kind in all His deeds.
18 The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.

via Ps 145 NASB;CJB – The LORD Extolled for His Goodness. – A – Bible Gateway.

The Bosco Family news is good.

Per the Fox10 website: Now, they have to heal from a fire that took their health and home. If you would like to make a donation to help out the family, contact Jim Orr at 251-232-9124

Please continue to pray for these.

5 Let everyone see how reasonable and gentle you are. The Lord is near! 6 Don’t worry about anything; on the contrary, make your requests known to God by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving. 7 Then God’s shalom, passing all understanding, will keep your hearts and minds safe in union with the Messiah Yeshua.

via Philippians 4:5-7 KJV;CJB – Let your moderation be known unto all – Bible Gateway.

Reasonable and gentle. What a lovely, refreshing way to conduct ourselves especially when it seems there is not much in this world that is reasonable or gentle these days. And what a testimony of faith for us to be reasonable and gentle when conflicts arise; when unwelcome reports barge into our lives; when the unthinkable demands recognition. And how can we? For sure not on our own, but The LORD is near! He is near to keep our hearts and minds SAFE. That is good news.  We are safe. In JESUS we are safe!

I have two names to give you for prayer: Basco Family and Jamie.

The Father and younger son were badly burned last evening. Both will need skin grafts and the father’s lung are a real concern as well.

Jamie. So close I cannot say much. She is so loved by so many.

Words are not coming easy, ABBA. It’s a really good thing that You know already and, HOLY SPIRIT, I ask You to intercede on our behalf and for the Basco Family and for Jamie and for any other that our Readers bring with them in prayer as we all gather here. I pray for healing in JESUS name.

Right

Is there anything harder in this Christian Life than giving up your right to want to hurt someone who has hurt you especially when they did it knowing it was hurting you but did it anyway?

I am in the process and it is wildly hard.

The mind plays and plays the evil they did; moreover, you told them to stop, even explained the pain and they kept on and finally, you are stuck paying the consequences for their sins.

As I said is there anything harder?

And so you pray and you work remembering Scripture and you pray more and at some point, you surrender your right to want to hurt them because you know that is what is best for you and that is what JESUS desires for you.

Does it make what they did right? Does it cancel their sin? Absolutely not!

Does it make what they did any less malicious? Absolutely not!

Does it mean they will not reap what they have sown? Absolutely not!

Does it mean I will not rejoice when what goes around comes around? Actually yes it does! That is how I know forgiveness has come.

Does it mean when I think of what they have done to me, I will hurt less? Yeah, actually it does.  ONLY JESUS can work a miracle like this!  And I’m looking for a miracle. James 5:16 Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)

16 Therefore, openly acknowledge your sins to one another, and pray for each other, so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

via James 5:16 KJV;CJB – Confess your faults one to another, and – Bible Gateway.

Ephesians 4:32 Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)

32 Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted; and forgive each other, just as in the Messiah God has also forgiven you.

via Eph 4:32 KJV;CJB – And be ye kind one to another, – Bible Gateway.

An Announcement

There’s a new blog in web-land and it’s mine.

The new work is entitled Who’s With Me?

It is not my intention to abandon The White Stone. This new attempt, I believe, is an avenue at the direction of ABBA to give me a place to voice my pleas and cries for America; for Her restoration and survival. A place for me to pass along news, opinions and yes, matters for urgent and fervent prayer. I have strong, passionate concerns for America’s salvation, both eternal and temporal and it seems to me The White Stone is not necessarily the forum to give me voice. I am hoping that Who’s With Me? will be a productive outlet.

So I invite you to click HERE and visit my new digs. There you will find multiple ways to connect with me:

1. You will have the opportunity make comments at the end of any post.

2. You will have the opportunity to simply leave a check indicating that you Agree; Disagree or Don’t Care as to the post subject.

3. You will have the opportunity to automatically receive all new posts via email as you do here with The White Stone. And a new feature:

4. A message board that allows you to send a comment directly to my email that will not become a part of the post – it’s a private means of communication.  I wish Word Press offered such a widget here at The White Stone. Perhaps it does and I just don’t know it yet.

So please take a few minutes as your earliest convenience, click HERE and see what Who’s With Me? is all about. And send me your opinions. I really want to hear from you.

I am excited and looking forward to this new journey,
