Until You Are Blue in the Face

I am here from my Facebook feed where I spent multiple minutes scrolling. We all have words and pictures to post. We all have opinions and avenues of thought we hold dear, but in the end, we are all just hashing and re-hashing the same fodder, and is it getting us anywhere? I wonder if anyone’s mind is ever changed from one position to another by reading our multiple words and pictures. Moreover, have we snatched a single soul in this society from hell by all this posting and reposting?

COVID 19.

Hatred and violence escalating – some even applauding the violence.

So, I ask again what good are we doing with this hashing and re-hashing; this watching over and over the blatant rebellion, and unashamed acts of debauchery unsaved people are committing in America’s streets? Are we helping them or ourselves by watching and posting and watching and posting?
And if you do not know by now which Candidate you are going to vote for in November; well, I’ll leave that right there.

I cannot stop the wicked media from fabricating stories, misleading stories, and manipulating the American people into frenzies of fear, hate, suspicion, delusion, and more.
I cannot persuade Elected Officials like Mayors and Governors to act with integrity and courage.
I cannot take terrorist organizations off our streets. 
I cannot convince people in places of influence to tell the truth.
I cannot cajole Lab Personnel to honestly report the testing of swabs. 
I cannot even convince members of my own family to take JESUS seriously which to me is the most important act in eternity.

So.
I understand the frustration.
I understand the anger.
I understand the fear.
I understand the hopelessness.

For me, I know this: to hash and re-hashing all this evil and wrong and frightening and hurtful information is a waste of our precious time. We can talk about it until we are blue in the face and it will not change.

AMERICA HAS A SIN PROBLEM.

People are sinners! Worse than that they enjoy it! Millions of people are filled with fear, hate, anger, lust, covetousness, disappointment, grudges, addictions, unforgiveness – the list is as long as there are people. It’s overwhelming. And I can’t fix it! Can you?

What now? Keep doing what we have been doing; watching the wicked media? Keep posting the dung of the corrupt? Just keep on with our apathetic, self-centered lives? This is how we arrived here in 2020. The worst year in American history.

I can’t change you. You can’t change me. I can’t even change me. BUT JESUS can change both of us!

Step one.
Turn off the wicked media. Throw them out of your house!
Step two.
Open your Bible and READ!
Step three.
Repent and pray for GOD to have mercy on us all!
Step four.
Allow the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD to renew us and give us a heart that loves Him more than we love our comfort and our apathy.
Step five.
Allow the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD to love the people in our individual worlds through us!
And added to that PRAY. PRAY. PRAY. And Pray some more.
JESUS is not coming back for a whore. HE’s returning for His BRIDE and it’s getting late to get ready.

Is This A Prelude?

This is raw  – if that will disappoint you, perhaps you might seriously consider skipping this edition of The White Stone.

Papa, perhaps I talked too much today; even so, I am not pleased with this world we now live in. The distancing. The line to walk to enter a store. The Xs to stand on and wait. What kind of world is this? Where’s the faith in You in this? It’s just fear and more fear – fear of a virus we cannot see and fear of the people we do see.

Here on this front porch at our own little address, I get to pretend our world has not changed but just a short trip to Walmart tells me my pretending is pretense. How did we let this happen? And is it reversible? Can we be free to walk as before? Can we ever not fear touching one another? Thousands upon thousands of years man has lived with hugs and embracing and now, here in 2020 the world hugs no more. Oh yes – virtual hugs. Hogwash! Who can believe that jibberish?! What a pack of lies we have believed; a bill of goods we have bought! And anyone of us who dares to speak otherwise is branded many non-benevolent names! It did not take much to get us to this place, did it, LORD? What a pitiful bunch! Now what? Where are the Patrick Henry’s? Where are the ________ what examples do we have? Who is going to do what?

I suspect that medical experts will never relinquish this present control they have over the world – not without a huge fight. And who will fight for us? And what’s this business with China? All three of these killer viruses of recent years have come from China. Is that so? Where’s the social distancing from China? Why let anyone of them come here for decades forward? At least until China’s dictators repent of their compelling drive to rule the world. That will never be, will it? I remember Your Word. Two hundred million soldiers. So what if they kill off a few of their own to kill millions of the world – whether by virus or other weapons? What’s that to them? Oh, what evil people we are! We have ruined this glorious world You gave us to inhabit. Please come back and take it back. We are not fit to be here.

Perhaps the day will come when I have a better opinion of who we have become – but not today.

Abba, I pray for answers. I pray for deliverance from not only this virus but the minds that got us here. I pray for deliverance from the people who got us here. I pray for hope and touch and love to revive in us. This isolation is not Your way, is it? It’s just not You. You came seeking us when we were hiding in the Garden. We are hiding again, LORD, come rescue us. I am reminded of a future time You described to us in Your Word. Revelation 6:16. Is this a prelude?

How Much

For this last little while I have been thinking about how much; how much time do I have left here. The number of funerals (memorial services) I have attended has increased over the last decade – it comes with the territory – aging.

Truth. I don’t know how much time I have. None of us know for certain. I know I don’t have as much left as I have spent. I know that for sure. I mean I am really confident I shall not still be walking this planet come 2086 — or will I? That is if I take in the account of the millennial reign of my JESUS! Wow! That puts a whole new perspective on this how much time do I have left!

. . .  and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Shut the Liar Up

Have you heard that writing out Scripture is important? I received a refresher of that truth just now so I am stopping in briefly to share with you.

There are many versions in which to read this verse but the TLV is the one I was writing out to remember.

Isaiah 54:17 Tree of Life Version (TLV) 17 No weapon formed against you will prosper
and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment.
This is the heritage of Adonai’s servants— their vindication is from Me.”
It is a declaration of Adonai.  source

And as I wrote a light flashed on. Many of us in Christendom are well familiar with this promise No weapon formed against you will prosper and we want that so much. And it is a promise we can count on but there is a condition. It follows in the verse. Let me do all caps here so we don’t miss the importance. YOU WILL CONDEMN every tongue that rises against you in judgment.

So, who rises against us in judgment? No, He’s not speaking of you and me criticizing each other (not that that cannot be done constructively). Who accuses the brethren? (See Revelation 12:10) Of course, the Evil One and his hosts whisper or scream those nasty tongued lies to our minds daily.  And when we don’t CONDEMN them immediately that weapon against us will surely form – that’s not DADDY GOD’s plan but it is His condition in the case of the enemy’s speech. It’s up to us to shut the liar up! And we do by simply condemning – that is recognizing that speech as a lie, reject it and in Father’s Spirit move on.

Please read the rest of the verse again. You don’t want to miss the words HERITAGE, VINDICATION, ME and DECLARATION. Let those words speak to you in the context in which they are given.
