Lets Go Fishing

People.
People everywhere are too busy with the mundane to give attention to The Supreme – The Creator GOD.

I see people so in love with this world and all that glitters that they are blind to the Beauty of YESHUA, JESUS The CHRIST.
So blind, so dazzled, that IF they see any Jesus at all, it is the false Jesus that has no firmness, no power to transform them from darkness to Light.

People everywhere, breathing, walking, but dead – dead in their sins.

And then there is this.
People.
How can people who say they know and love The Messiah be so flippant and nonchalant about people acting out abominations day after day? Are they walking dead as well while professing they have been made alive?

How can I say that you may ask?
By this dear one.

How can a soul who has been delivered from sin, death, hell, and the grave be so uncommitted as to watch another person sin away their temporal opportunity to circumvent hell, while they say that’s their choice – They have the right to live however they choose – It’s none of my business?

Where’s the burden for the lost?
Where’s the love that is willing to sacrifice comfort to pull another human being from a burning building and CERTAIN death?

ALL who have been redeemed – that is saved from sin, death, hell, and the grave did not our Savior say we would be fishers of men (mankind)?887175_orig
Do not real fishermen take fishing seriously?
Do they not gather all their equipment, go to the lake, river, creek, or ocean, and cast a line?
Do they not wait patiently?
Do they not coax that fish with all they got?
Do they not yearn to catch a fish?

Get the picture?

I have to come to this conclusion people who do not care what other people do and how they live, desperately need to find out if they themselves have been caught by The Savior?

So I must ask whether there is any movement in your being that is telling you, you need to be delivered from your sins?

If there is I urge you to ask GOD for mercy, get a Bible, and start reading NOW the Gospel according to JOHN.  Here let me give you a LINK to get started.

And to all who are certain of your Redeemer and your redemption, will you not at every prompting of Holy Spirit, cast some Bread on the water?

Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days. (KJV) Ecclesiastes 11:1

11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth —
it will not return to me unfulfilled;
but it will accomplish what I intend,
and cause to succeed what I sent it to do.”  source
(as always read the whole chapter)

One more thing. See this picture?
What do you see?

A Misunderstanding

I shared this on my Facebook page earlier this morning and decided to bring it here too.

And here is my commentary on this verse.
Conversations and conduct I have heard and seen tells me people have not understood this Word. When YESHUA came, He the GODMAN didn’t come in His capacity the first time as JUDGE. He came as Redeemer, Messiah, Savior, and Friend of Sinners but not one of these Missions indicates He came to ignore telling us we are sinners separated from GOD and that we will not see GOD unless we turn from our sins to GOD. In simple terms: Turn or Burn.
That sounds like judgment to unlearned people – it’s not. It is a message of love, mercy, and grace.
Love says turn or burn.
Mercy says turn or Burn.
And it is The Grace of GOD that He even calls us to turn.
We were ALL (except YESHUA, JESUS) born condemned already. JESUS stepped into our condemned state to redeem us.
I welcome Him as my JUDGE. I invite Him. I want Him to judge everything – all my thoughts and all my deeds and to arrest every thought and every behavior that does not please Him.
And this my Friends is truly the love, mercy, and grace of GOD to ever give me such a GIFT as to desire this!!
How about you?

The PicCollage app was also used to construct the picture above.

But Wait . . .

I think you should read Exodus 12 today.  Not because I did but because of what it says.

Let me stir us up today.

GOD kills people.

When was the last time you heard that preached?

12 For that night, I will pass through the land of Egypt and kill all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both men and animals; and I will execute judgment against all the gods of Egypt; I am Adonai. source

But I am not a proponent of taking Scripture out of context which is why I am urging you to always read in context.

GOD kills people.
As I made that note in my journal, I thought the first thing people are going to say is that was the Old Testament.  Yes. It is. But wait.
Acts 5 is in the New Testament.  Check it out.

Back to Exodus.

Would you agree we need to know what would cause GOD to kill someone?
Scripture is where we can gather that knowledge.  Exodus 12 is an excellent place to start.
Albeit, we would need to read more than Exodus 12 to learn all the evil rebellions done by Pharoah and his people. How familiar are you with the story given to us in the Book of Exodus?
It is well worth your time to read it.

What else is in Exodus 12?

There is verse 13.

13 The blood will serve you as a sign marking the houses where you are; when I see the blood, I will pass over you — when I strike the land of Egypt, the death blow will not strike you.  source

Please, please don’t miss this: when I see the blood, I will pass over you.

This is GOD talking!
When I see the blood, I will pass over you!

When GOD looks at YOU does He see the BLOOD of JESUS applied to YOU as the blood of the Passover Lamb was applied to the doors of those houses in Egypt?

The Hebrews of Old applied that blood to the doorposts. See verse 7.
doorThey obeyed and applied the blood because GOD told them to.
They heard the words of Moses given to him from The Father and they obeyed what they heard.
Sound familiar?  Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of GOD? See Romans 12:17

So I must ask again – Is the BLOOD of JESUS The CHRIST applied to you?
When GOD moves in judgment will He pass over you?
seder-e1394248396864Look again at verse 12.
He was executing JUDGMENT when He killed all the firstborns not protected by the blood of the Passover Lamb.
Are you protected?

And if you read Acts 5, you will see not pagans being killed but church people.
There are sins unto death for church people.  See 1 John 5.

I began by saying I was going to stir us up?
Did I?
