WordPress. They offer the option of snow for your blog. I gave them an automatic yes a few years ago.
But I’m off point here. I came here to think about inspiration. Cause I need some! For the smallest of things – like what to cook for supper. Perhaps I need this inspiration because I have beenlaxwith cooking for some weeks now, with the exception of Thanksgiving, of course.
So how’s your inspiration level?
What do you do when you draw a blank? Be it cooking, writing, Christmas shopping ???? Just a little curious here. :)
And obviously not cooking supper yet.
Have a sweet evening, Friends Until Next Time ~ ~ ~ Kathie
Truth. I am nearly wordless tonight. So I went for pictures. This one stood out. Not the Rose of Sharon but that was my next thought.Song of Solomon 2:1-3. Lily of the Valley. Battle Hymn of the Republic. That was my chain of thought.
So here it is. What finer way to start November as we approach Thanksgiving.
He died to make men holy; let us live to make men free. Amen.
And the words of the song we sang were holy, holy, holy, merciful, and mighty, and sitting there on the pew I started stringing words hoping to convey to you what was comforting my soul.
He. You know the He who is holy, holy, holy, right?
3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
Happy, happier, happiest. There are no such superlatives for holy. So the English translators gave us holy, holy, holy. Or so I’ve heard.
I thought I’d find us a dictionary definition of holy so I went toWebster’s Dictionary the 1828 edition. I was confident that I would get a more accurate description there than in today’s dictionaries. I was right. In part Noah Webster defined the word holy this way:
Yep! The holy, holy, holy One is disposed to pity offenders.
A lot of folks I think don’t know that about Him.
We should tell them!
And more than pity, His mercy is coupled with might.
Mighty enough to save us and transform us!
And what He starts He is going to finish.
You can count on that.
Early in the morning, I will awaken and celebrate the LIGHT. Celebrate that again I have awaken. Awaken to the light, awaken to the LIGHT Who made the light. Awaken to the LIGHT Who brought me from Darkness to celebrate in the light with the LIGHT.
And if you know this is more than a play on words, and you got this LIGHT that made light, that’s good. Very good! :)
Early in the morning or late in the evening, I will celebrate the LIGHT.
I like this. :)
12 Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying,“I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” [source]

We are glad you are here; stay a while, look around, and be encouraged. We estimate there to be over 3,000 posts here at The White Stone Blog. Please know my hope is ALWAYS to help and NEVER harm. I have voiced many opinions and thoughts here since 2007 and by now I MAY NOT EVEN AGREE with all of them and some of my grammar and punctuation likely needs editing. But this is changeless: JESUS is our ONLY Savior and Hope. Do you KNOW Him?
