We Grew Apart

And she said, “we grew apart”.

It’s a phrase that was coined so we could have “no-fault” breakups.
So nobody has to feel bad about themselves. Rubbish!
There’s no such thing, Folks.
There’s always fault on both sides – perhaps one more than the other, but there’s always fault to go around.

And growing apart? How foolish can we be?
Growing apart?
Pushing apart. Is what it is.

There are other “aparts” but they boil down to people choosing to break apart because someone or both someones do not want to go on together.

When one of the two senses a breach is forming, someone has to make the first move.
Someone has to broach the subject of pain.
Someone has to be willing to listen.
To hear.
The Two must begin again together.  Make that the THREE must begin again (or for the first time) together.triangle. Jpeg
To make changes in thoughts, words spoken, actions taken, and motives held, so the two can actually GROW together toward GOD.

Each Pray.
Talk, listen to the other.
Pray.
Really Grow — together.
Did you notice in the triangle that as he and she move toward GOD individually, they grow closer to each other

Let’s keep Come Aparts from happening.  Good-Morning-Sunshine-10

Tik Tok

I’m not a fan of Tik Tok. I’m not even a fan of Facebook, although I use it as often as I can to promote the Gospel of JESUS the CHRIST.
That being said, I’d like to give my opinion relative to a video I came across today.  Here’s a link to the video, followed by my thoughts on the subject.

I understand why he would say what he says but because of 1 Peter chapter 3, I cannot accept that a believing wife has permission from The Father to say to her husband (either in word or actions) you follow Christ like I think you should or I will not submit to you.
Yes, the believing husband is commanded by GOD to be the leader of the family by following JESUS, and the believing wife is commanded to submit to her husband, to follow his leadership as long as he does NOT require her to SIN along with him.
A quiet and gentle spirit is what the Father commands of His daughters toward their husbands.
I am grateful He forgives and gives many, many second chances (albeit those consequences of needing second chances can be really tough in the process) because in my process of learning I have failed often.
But I have hope to grow more and more into not only submission to my husband but most importantly to my Father GOD (which, of course, would mean I am submitting more and more to my husband).
There are so many commands GOD has given to His Daughters that she owes to HIM – submitting to her husband is only part of being a godly woman (wife).

In the same way, wives, submit to your husbands; so that even if some of them do not believe the Word, they will be won over by your conduct, without your saying anything,
as they see your respectful and pure behavior.  source

Wives, submit to your husbands the Text reads.
Further so that even if some of them do not believe the Word — now is it just me or does that sound like a husband following JESUS?
Respectful and pure behavior — don’t let that slip our attention as well.

Of course, if you want an even better understanding of chapter 3, back up and read chapter 2 as well.

That’s about it. aroma-aromatic-art-2478330

Bad Move

Luke 9: 28-36

If we are not very careful we can become awestruck with people or even the creation of GOD,  INSTEAD of GOD the Creator, Himself.
Not a good move.
A very bad move indeed!

Crazy Talk

Luke 9

Okay. So here’s the deal.

At the beginning of this chapter, YESHUA called His disciples together, having been well-trained I believe, He commissioned them and gave them authority, and sent them out.
He gave them authority to cast out demons and to heal sick people.
(JESUS here gave authority to His disciples to cast out demons.
JESUS did this!
For JESUS to do this He must know there are demons to be cast out. So I wonder why so many Christian Folk today act like demons have gone on a permanent vacation from inhabiting people.  But that wasn’t my point so I’ll get back to it now
:)

And when all this GOOD NEWS began circulating, so did some TALK.

Now Herod the tetrarch heard about all that was happening; and he was greatly perplexed, because it was said by some that John had risen from the dead, and by some that Elijah had appeared, and by others that one of the prophets of old had risen. source

So get this!
Herod and some others found it more palatable to believe that John the Baptizer or Elijah had been raised from the dead than to believe that YESHUA was The Messiah who had come to deliver them.
So, if in Chapter 9 they believed people could be raised from the dead, why then when YESHUA was raised from the dead on the Third Day after His execution, did they refuse to believe?

Do you know people like that today?
They would rather believe any sort of craziness rather than believe THE ONE TRUE GOD came here to this messed up world so He could deliver us and save us from sin, death, hell, and the grave.

Go figure.

Crazy Talk!

1Let’s make this Friday a productive one.

We are glad you are here; stay a while, look around, and be encouraged. We estimate there to be over 3,000 posts here at The White Stone Blog. Please know my hope is ALWAYS to help and NEVER harm. I have voiced many opinions and thoughts here since 2007 and by now I MAY NOT EVEN AGREE with all of them and some of my grammar and punctuation likely needs editing. But this is changeless: JESUS is our ONLY Savior and Hope. Do you KNOW Him?
