My Message for This Season

The beautiful thought I am here to share with you came yesterday, and today, I typed this message, and now I am posting it here for anyone who has ears to hear — family, friends, acquaintances, and those I’ve yet to meet.

It’s that time again. The Christmas Season. I would like a new name to call this season, but so far, I have not settled on anything.

You see, I am fully confident that JESUS was not laid in that manger in December, late September, or October, maybe. Now, I can believe that around the time of the Festival of Lights (Hanukkah) is when the Angel Gabriel visited Mary, and she received the SEED of GOD within her womb. Luke 1: 26-38

The LIGHT of the WORLD coming to earth (to the womb of Mary) on Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights. Yep. I can believe that.  John 10

But that’s not something to squabble over – HE came!

There is something beautiful that came to me yesterday that I want to share with you.

Mary. We think of her this time of year. Songs are sung, and passages of Scripture tell us what happened about 2000 years ago. But back to what I came to write here.

For nine months, Mary carried the growing, developing body the LORD JESUS lived in for more than 33 ½ earthly years. (Actually, I believe He is still in that body, resurrected and glorified).  For nine months, He was close to her heart just like each of us was to our respective mothers’ hearts, and then He came forth from her womb to her arms.  She watched him learn to speak, to crawl, to walk, to run, to read, to pray, to worship, all the things good little Jewish boys do, with one exception — 1 Peter 2:22. He didn’t sin like the rest of the family did, like all families do. And she loved Him. More than her next breath, she loved Him.

Then the time came, and He stepped into the mission for which He was born. It was short, just about 3 ½ years, and then they (her own people) killed Him.
She stood, no, I think, collapsed at the cross on which He was crucified.  John 19:25-29 When His body was taken down, it was placed in a borrowed tomb. Matthew 27:57-61 Borrowed – He wouldn’t need it for long because in 3 days HE AROSE, Alive again! Never to die again! For the next 40 days, He visited folks, the disciples, people who loved Him, people who needed to see Him alive and well. 1 Corinthians 15:1-11
And then just outside Bethany, He ascended into heaven right before their very eyes! Acts 1:6-11 THEN, just 10 days later, HOLY SPIRIT arrived. He was/is the GIFT JESUS had promised, and He came upon and within all those who believed JESUS. Acts 1:1-5 and Acts 2. Now I am getting to the beautiful thought that came to me yesterday (November 30, 2025).

Mary received by faith and carried JESUS in her body for 9 months. Now let’s again advance 33 ½ years (give or take), to the day of Pentecost, when He (that same JESUS she carried in her body) by His Spirit, the HOLY SPIRIT, entered her body again, to never leave her again; to be her Savior, her LORD, her Guide, and her GOD.
Do you believe this?
Likewise, do you believe that you can have JESUS live in you? That we (you and I) can bear/bring JESUS to the world? Is this of any interest to you?  Has HOLY SPIRIT confirmed to you that these things are true?

May it be that this December you experience the REAL JESUS.

Holy Hugs, Kathie

Birthing

What if I said: “When you were born (birthed) into this world, you came by water and blood, would you concur?”  Think about it. I don’t need to spell it out here, do I?

So, can you also concur that when we are born (birthed) into the Kingdom of GOD, it is by Water and Blood (applied and administered by HOLY SPIRIT)?

What can I say, Birthing doesn’t happen without water and blood,  neither physical nor spiritual.

This being true, instead of being squeamish about the Blood of YESHUA, could we not, from this day forward, glory in it?
Could we not, with unexplainable reverence and joy, rest easy in The Blood of Our Savior? Could we not unashamedly speak of His Blood to ourselves and others every day?

Just asking.
So, since this truth is as bright as a new LED to me today, how could I not spiel it here with you all?

The King James concurs: 1 John 5: For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

There is no remission of sins without the shedding of Blood. See Hebrews 9: 20 saying, “THIS IS THE BLOOD OF THE COVENANT [that seals and ratifies the agreement] WHICH GOD ORDAINED and COMMANDED [me to deliver to] YOU.” 21 And in the same way he sprinkled both the tabernacle and all the containers and sacred utensils of worship with the blood. 22 In fact under the Law almost everything is cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness [neither release from sin and its guilt, nor cancellation of the merited punishment].  source

Thank you for bearing with me — this is a long one, but I hope it has been good and worth the read to you!

Drop-In Thoughts

Early mornings are good times for me, often thoughts surprise me and then settle in to help and correct.  This morning was one of those mornings.

The initiating thought went something like this: As a Christian we, you and I do not have the right to do as we please. It’s a common teaching, I think, that we all have the right to do as we please.  And you know, for the NOT born again, I think that is a fair statement.

But if you (and I) have been born again, at that exchange of sin for Righteousness, we (you and I) no longer have the right to do as we please.  We really don’t.

We (the Redeemed) have been bought back from the evil one, and we forfeited our ‘right’ to sin at that time.

1 Corinthians 6
19
Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God with your body.

We are now obligated to obey The Father, obligated to refuse to do as we please. However, glory, hallelujah, we have the right, the authority, and the Power to live holy for His glory and our good.

John 1
12 But to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God—13 children born not of blood, nor of the desire or will of man, but born of God.

2 Peter
3 By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. 4 And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.

And then the next logical thought arrested my attention: If this confronts any one of us as unacceptable, then the only logical thing to do is check in with Him and find out if we have in truth been born again.
