Colossians 3:23  King James Version (KJV)

23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

This is our Word to us today.

Do it now. The good that is. That which blesses ABBA and others.

Don’t walk by that ________________ still sitting on the counter, pick it up and put it in its place. It won’t take but a second or two.

So much of life gets left undone because we don’t do it on our way to doing something else.  And there you have it – For what it’s worth.

Thank You, ABBA, for another day to sit with my friends even for a moment; help us take this Word to our hands and feet and do it. Let us not be just hearers of Your WORD but Doers. Thank You for reminding me; thank You for helping me; for helping all of us. We love You, ABBA.

Solving the World’s Ills

Sharing in the pain of a friend today, I came to this conclusion about the ills of the world, families and even churches:

What a mess! And you know what, all the world’s relationship breaches could be resolved if ALL the people would just continually practice Ephesians 4:32.
ABBA, is so SMART and we the people in our unrepentant states are too evil and stupid to listen to Him. And there you have it, my summary of the world’s plight!

In King James English:

Ephesians 4:32

32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

Or Complete Jewish Bible; the command is the same:

Ephesians 4:32

32 Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted; and forgive each other, just as in the Messiah God has also forgiven you.

Woe be unto us if we continue the path of waiting for the other person to forgive first; if our hearts were right with GOD we would be in a race to see who could forgive first.

ABBA, please forgive me when I am stubborn and stiff-necked and mold me into a person who races to forgive.

I visited a bit this evening with a dear blog sister, Elaine, at Peace for the Journey. Click HERE and read her post.  It is her post that prompted me to go looking for the you tube featured below.  Let the words transport you to a place of worship. In particular note these words: Thou and Thou only, first in my heart, High King of Heaven, my Treasure Thou art.

ABBA, this is my prayer that You High King of Heaven be FIRST in my heart; truly be in my words and practice, Thou my Treasure now and forever.  Thank You for songs so beautiful that lead us to worship You. Thank You for all the huge and smaller things You are doing in our lives. I am reminded of the Billy Graham telecast just a few weeks away; thank You for such a servant as he is and I pray this endeavor will bring the harvest of souls that You desire. I pray we will be pliable in Your Hands and will do as You will to assist in sharing this telecast with others. I am again bringing Bella, Carolyn, Jamie, Teri and family, Dori, and other situations to You, confessing we need Your help and we desire that You heal and restore these. And in truth, ABBA, these named are only a small number of the names and faces that I bring now asking You for mercy and grace. Holy Spirit, keep us ceaselessly praying for others, always in the Mighty Name of YESHUA.
