Updates

I have two updates my friends since my requests for prayer on Wednesday.

Our much-loved Jamie took flight for HOME on Wednesday evening. She is well now. JT and I were able to tell her we love her and give JESUS praise over her before she transitioned from here to Heaven. Her family was with her when she departed; they are rejoicing that she is no longer in pain but you and I know that the missing will be hard; so please pray for them.  Jamie was an extraordinary Christian! And I do mean extraordinary. There was nothing mediocre about Jamie’s faith and love for JESUS and others! I do not understand the healing there instead of here but this I know GOD is good and He is kind.

17 The Lord is righteous in all His ways and kind in all His deeds.
18 The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.

via Ps 145 NASB;CJB – The LORD Extolled for His Goodness. – A – Bible Gateway.

The Bosco Family news is good.

Per the Fox10 website: Now, they have to heal from a fire that took their health and home. If you would like to make a donation to help out the family, contact Jim Orr at 251-232-9124

Please continue to pray for these.

Safe

5 Let everyone see how reasonable and gentle you are. The Lord is near! 6 Don’t worry about anything; on the contrary, make your requests known to God by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving. 7 Then God’s shalom, passing all understanding, will keep your hearts and minds safe in union with the Messiah Yeshua.

via Philippians 4:5-7 KJV;CJB – Let your moderation be known unto all – Bible Gateway.

Reasonable and gentle. What a lovely, refreshing way to conduct ourselves especially when it seems there is not much in this world that is reasonable or gentle these days. And what a testimony of faith for us to be reasonable and gentle when conflicts arise; when unwelcome reports barge into our lives; when the unthinkable demands recognition. And how can we? For sure not on our own, but The LORD is near! He is near to keep our hearts and minds SAFE. That is good news.  We are safe. In JESUS we are safe!

I have two names to give you for prayer: Basco Family and Jamie.

The Father and younger son were badly burned last evening. Both will need skin grafts and the father’s lung are a real concern as well.

Jamie. So close I cannot say much. She is so loved by so many.

Words are not coming easy, ABBA. It’s a really good thing that You know already and, HOLY SPIRIT, I ask You to intercede on our behalf and for the Basco Family and for Jamie and for any other that our Readers bring with them in prayer as we all gather here. I pray for healing in JESUS name.

Shortfalls

A simple thought: our GOD is greater than our propensities.

It bears some thought.

What are your natural propensities?

One of mine? When the crisis is done, I quickly forget the lesson the crisis came to teach.  I have a real propensity to forget to remember important stuff! However that is not all bad because I forget the bad stuff too. A dear sister apologized to me recently for something she said to me a long while ago; it had been plaguing her and she was compelled to say she was sorry. I told her all was well. And it truly is for I still don’t remember the incident.  I’m glad about that.

And so this morning I gave thanks to ABBA that He is bigger than my propensities. That He is stronger and able to overcome my short falls. I am grateful for that and I am counting on Him to help me remember to not forget the stuff He wants me to remember. :)

;)   Smile with me today. It will make our day better.

4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

via 1 John 4:3-5 KJV;CJB – And every spirit that confesseth not – Bible Gateway

6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

via Philippians 1:5-7 KJV;CJB – For your fellowship in the gospel from – Bible Gateway.

ABBA, thank You that You can use even  ‘tongue in cheek’ phrases to help us in our walk of obedience. You are so fun! I love You.Thank You for a day nearly spent and for the hopes of a day to come. I pray for each home into which this page is opened, asking that Your Holy Presence be known and that You be welcomed with love and worship as You forever deserve. I do have other requests, You know them well and I know You care and that gives me rest. Amen and amen in Yeshua’s name.
