Follower of Yeshua. Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother. Some call me a teacher. Some say I'm a prayer warrior. A few accredit me with some writing skills. Me? I say I'm a work in slow progress, looking for perfection in eternity and until then having all the holy fun I know how.

The A and The Z

My first inkling of this post was First and Last, but I think that will not do as I’m not certain it was the first and I cannot be absolutely certain it will be the last. What am I talking about?
This.

I found it this morning.

These lilies have been sparse this year.  So, to find one in mid-November is a treat for me. One I sincerely appreciate.
I’m giving thanks.

Yet, I’d be remiss if I did not speak of the true and certain First and The Last, now wouldn’t I?

And perhaps you think I will go straight to Revelation. I thought that too but a word search took me to other addresses.

Would you believe Isaiah?

Isaiah 48:12 New Living Translation  12 “Listen to me, O family of Jacob,  Israel my chosen one! I alone am God, the First and the Last.  source

Any questions?  Like who is this First and Last?
As is always a safe and accurate guideline: Let Scripture interpret Scripture.

The One and Only Yeshua HaMashiach. Perhaps you call Him Jesus the Christ.

Memories

Memories.
I’m giving thanks for memories.
And the gray matter that holds them for me. :)
You know what they say: “a mind is a terrible thing to waste.”

I have particularly thought of my Momma this evening.
We attended a wedding. There was music. She loved music.
She had a natural rhythm.

Memories.
Treasure them.
And mind your mind.

For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  source

Literally Enjoying GOD

I am grateful for the digital sphere but not all of it; not the sin and there is much of it, at the click of the mouse.
Just that close.

So my question is on what do you click?
Do you sit for sermons?

Will you sit for this one?

Will you click that mouse and watch and hear this sermon?

Paul Washer.
