Day 26 of The Giving of Thanks

The United States of America.
I am giving thanks today that even though Academia and others of Influence have sought diligently to hid away America’s true history, I am grateful for the Documents, the Letters, and the Books that have been secured.
We can KNOW our real history.
We can know the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.
The Good to rejoice over and there is much Good to thank GOD for.
There is more than enough Bad and Ugly to learn from and make sure it is not repeated. 

I would to The Great LORD that we as a people would come to understand that The Mayflower Compact, The Declaration of Independence, and our Constitution were and are GIFTS from ALMIGHTY GOD.
These documents were birthed in the heart of people led by GOD HIMSELF.
And to every soul who does not believe this, I have to say You don’t know History, not the real History of America.

Day 25 of The Giving of Thanks

Taste
The sense of tasting.
To sit, taste, and share bread with family, friends, or even an acquaintance we want to know better; it’s a pleasure and a gift for which we give thanks. Tomorrow is a day here in America set aside to give Thanks. It’s a day to remember an event occurring centuries ago and to bring it forward. GOD is still GOD. He has not changed and for that, we can surely give THANKS. 

Hebrews 13:8  (NKJV) 8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. source

James 1:17 (AMP) 17 Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of lights [the Creator and Sustainer of the heavens], in whom there is no variation [no rising or setting] or shadow cast by His turning [for He is perfect and never changes]. source

Day 24 of The Giving of Thanks

Hot Water.
Not the kind you get into for this or that but the free-flowing kind that washes away the grime of the day and soothes tired achy muscles – a hot shower. I have said one of the greatest blessings of living here in America is a hot shower. I am grateful for every hot shower I get to enjoy. Epson Salt baths too. 

And I am grateful for the Water of The Word. It washes the grime and soothes like nothing else. The Water of The Word is plentiful here in America. May it continue to be.

Day 23 of The Giving of Thanks.

Hearing.
Actually, all our five senses. Seeing. Smelling. Tasting. Touching. Hearing.
The ability to hear.
What a gift!
Whether it be the slightest of sounds like a larger than usual earring smoothly gliding over your neck, the chime of the Grandfather clock standing stately against the wall, the squeal of a two-year old that you love more than your next breath, the yelp of your Lab as you step out the door, the chirping of your phone, that special one or two sounds because it’s your Girls calling, or even a YouTube streaming a favored song.
Let me not be remiss here – I must mention spiritual hearing – hearing the Voice of GOD – sweetly, correctively, encouragingly, or declaring to our cold, afraid soul, His warmth and security. 

John 10:27  (NKJV) 27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. source 

Ecclesiastes 12:13  (AMP) 13 When all has been heard, the end of the matter is: fear God [worship Him with awe-filled reverence, knowing that He is almighty God] and keep His commandments, for this applies to every person. source

It’s special.
On her 12th Christmas, Baby Girl gifted me with the playing of Fur Elise on our old upright piano. This Momma cried happy tears that Christmas morning. 
This is not Baby Girl’s playing but it’s still a pleasure.
