Connecting

Man has reached phenomenal heights of intellect and technology in the preceding 100 years. I am appreciative. I have happily benefited. But.
I am sick of soul watching the dearth of common sense in our present time.
Droves of people have divorced themselves from logical reasoning.

Today’s planet dwellers are so easily seduced and enslaved by the god of this world. Multitudes of humans no longer reason or think for themselves. Instead, they do as the elite tell them to do – without question.
They are indeed sheep with no Shepherd.
Moreover the many, if we can believe media videos, have given themselves over to an all-out hatred for THE SHEPHERD who loves them. True, not all have voiced this with words but their practiced behaviors have exposed them.

This is today’s humanity.
A few of us ONLY BY THE GRACE OF GOD have escaped. So how and why are we sitting on our blessed assurances and are not spending our waking hours in fervent prayer and speaking the GOSPEL of JESUS CHRIST to every person we meet who is WILLING to listen?

Our time in human history is so dire. Let us not waste precious time or resources on social media debates with online friends and strangers; rather we must be open to opportunities given to us by HOLY SPIRIT and invest ourselves there for the souls of our precious fellow humans.

Tragically most are not going to repent and be saved but surely there are some out there ready to live free.  Aren’t there?
May The LORD connect us.

11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
12 The hired hand, since he isn’t a shepherd and the sheep aren’t his own, sees the wolf coming, abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf drags them off and scatters them.
13 The hired worker behaves like this because that’s all he is, a hired worker; so it doesn’t matter to him what happens to the sheep.
14 I am the good shepherd; I know my own, and my own know me —
15 just as the Father knows me, and I know the Father — and I lay down my life on behalf of the sheep.
16 Also I have other sheep which are not from this pen; I need to bring them, and they will hear my voice; and there will be one flock, one shepherd.
17 “This is why the Father loves me: because I lay down my life — in order to take it up again!
18 No one takes it away from me; on the contrary, I lay it down of my own free will. I have the power to lay it down, and I have the power to take it up again. This is what my Father commanded me to do.” source

A Calling for Prayer,

Ricochet

Admittedly this post is intended as ricochet ministry. Described by a beloved Pastor (my paraphrase) as bouncing the message off my regular Readers (who highly likely have already embraced it and will) hopefully rebound it to others who might benefit.

The picture is copied from a public domain and is pictured here as the springboard for this essay. This picture does not tell the whole story though. Does it?

It does tell me the targeted man is only valued, and the wife deems herself only loved, when the husband conforms to all the wishes and dictates of the wife. It tells me the wife sees herself predominately as One to be served rather than a partner in service. This is heartbreaking for both of them.
The pictured message is the opposite of the Spirit of Scripture. It is a 180 in the wrong direction from the principles that make for a healthy, happy marriage.  Biblical Principles when applied and treasured by BOTH will bring Life to life.

Marriages are BUILT, not by one, not by two but by Three – GOD and the two. This building happens when the two individually love GOD FIRST and Secondly, love their mate more than they love their own needs, ways and comforts.

Scripture does not give the option – I will if he will – someone has to start and the one who starts and does not give up reaps a harvest of plenty.

Such is rare in our world because marriages today are contracts made to be broken instead of covenants entered for keeping in JESUS name.

I know whereof I speak  – I’ve had both! The contract for breaking and the Covenant for keeping and that means SOMETHING!

So let us not grow weary of doing what is good; for if we don’t give up, we will in due time reap the harvest.  source

Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant.
Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. source

End of Essay,

Happy Passover

At this posting, it is Wednesday morning in Lower Alabama. There’s some cloud cover and some peeking rays here and there.
I am bringing to you another youtube today and I hope you will invest the moments to glean from it.
