Until You Are Blue in the Face

I am here from my Facebook feed where I spent multiple minutes scrolling. We all have words and pictures to post. We all have opinions and avenues of thought we hold dear, but in the end, we are all just hashing and re-hashing the same fodder, and is it getting us anywhere? I wonder if anyone’s mind is ever changed from one position to another by reading our multiple words and pictures. Moreover, have we snatched a single soul in this society from hell by all this posting and reposting?

COVID 19.
Portland, Oregon.
Hatred and violence escalating – some even applauding the violence.

So, I ask again what good are we doing with this hashing and re-hashing; this watching over and over the blatant rebellion, and unashamed acts of debauchery unsaved people are committing in America’s streets? Are we helping them or ourselves by watching and posting and watching and posting?
And if you do not know by now which Candidate you are going to vote for in November; well, I’ll leave that right there.

I cannot stop the wicked media from fabricating stories, misleading stories, and manipulating the American people into frenzies of fear, hate, suspicion, delusion, and more.
I cannot persuade Elected Officials like Mayors and Governors to act with integrity and courage.
I cannot take terrorist organizations off our streets. 
I cannot convince people in places of influence to tell the truth.
I cannot cajole Lab Personnel to honestly report the testing of swabs. 
I cannot even convince members of my own family to take JESUS seriously which to me is the most important act in eternity.

So.
I understand the frustration.
I understand the anger.
I understand the fear.
I understand the hopelessness.

For me, I know this: to hash and re-hashing all this evil and wrong and frightening and hurtful information is a waste of our precious time. We can talk about it until we are blue in the face and it will not change.

AMERICA HAS A SIN PROBLEM.

People are sinners! Worse than that they enjoy it! Millions of people are filled with fear, hate, anger, lust, covetousness, disappointment, grudges, addictions, unforgiveness – the list is as long as there are people. It’s overwhelming. And I can’t fix it! Can you?

What now? Keep doing what we have been doing; watching the wicked media? Keep posting the dung of the corrupt? Just keep on with our apathetic, self-centered lives? This is how we arrived here in 2020. The worst year in American history.

I can’t change you. You can’t change me. I can’t even change me. BUT JESUS can change both of us!

Step one.
Turn off the wicked media. Throw them out of your house!
Step two.
Open your Bible and READ!
Step three.
Repent and pray for GOD to have mercy on us all!
Step four.
Allow the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD to renew us and give us a heart that loves Him more than we love our comfort and our apathy.
Step five.
Allow the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD to love the people in our individual worlds through us!
And added to that PRAY. PRAY. PRAY. And Pray some more.
JESUS is not coming back for a whore. HE’s returning for His BRIDE and it’s getting late to get ready.

Let us pray.
Father GOD, thank You for the years of freedom and growing prosperity we the people of the United States of America have experienced. For a long, while now we have squandered much of both and still You have been gracious. We are seeing now what our sins have earned us and we now plead for grace and space to repent. Forgive us LORD and save us I pray. Not only have we Your children sinned and brought this disgrace upon us but now has arisen evil organizations powered and populated by people who hate You and Your Gospel and have vowed to destroy the people who love You and in order to do that even people who do not Know You are being killed and destroyed. I am asking You, Abba, to stop these organizations, to stop the people funding them and driving this evil. I am asking You to save us; have mercy on us and do not take Your Hand from us. Please pour out Your Spirit and bring revival and repentance to Your Church and salvation to the lost. Please stop these organizations birthed in hell by Your enemy and instead birth in us a holy reverence for You and Your Word I pray. Papa, I am scared for my people, they are lost and undone, they are following after evil with blinded eyes; please forgive them and awaken them to LIFE. Please, LORD, forgive them, they do not know what they are doing.
And GOD’s people say amen.

Intercession – 4th of July

Father GOD, July 4th and so a people are trying to celebrate; honestly, I am not well pleased with many of the people of earthly influence and the tyrannical way they have exalted themselves above others. We have a history of that, don’t we? Unregenerate man is like that, we have been since Adam and Eve sinned. Thank You forever for Your Salvation given in grace in Yeshua.

Our need for forgiveness and salvation is too huge even to describe. We are a depraved people and that You would have mercy on us is beyond my comprehension. Today. Today we celebrate the birth of a nation. A nation today with whom those within have set themselves to destroy. I remember what You did at babel when humans set themselves. I’d so like for You to do something to disbanded these people who have organized themselves to destroy what came together 244 years ago. We are so young to die.

A proper study of our history reveals grievous sins and it also reveals that more Gospel Missionaries, more Bibles, more congregations of Yeshua worshippers have come to be in America than any other place in the world, probably combined. Your Gospel is the reason America is. But that message is being drowned out now by people who by the evidence of their actions hate You. They want no part of You and they want all others to hate You too. This is grievous to me. I can only imagine what it is to You.

Abba, please have mercy. I acknowledge that we do not deserve it but as Abraham appealed to You for Sodom, I appeal to You for America. Please please save us from within; infiltrate those who hate You and hate America and disband this plot to destroy America. Raise up a People within us who will love You and gratefully embrace and live Your Way as given to us in Your Scripture. I pray for a Band of People who will pray without ceasing and who will live lives that evidence their praying; may I please be a member of this Band? Please don’t let unsaved people destroy this Republic. For JESUS name sake save America, by saving the People of America and the world. As You shut the mouths of the lions, would you please shut the mouths of the haters and open the mouths of all who love You?  And all GOD’s people said . . .

Let me Introduce You

Vancouver, Washington is many miles from my homeplace, and yet I am inclined to share with you an opportunity to be involved; perhaps only through prayer.

His name is Rey Reynolds and he recently entered the political arena. He is asking for the vote of the people in the 49th District. So, what does that matter to me as I do not live in his district; what does it matter to you? That depends. Whether or not you are fond of all the people of America. Whether we care or not who is governing everywhere in these 50 United States of America. Because who is governing each District, County, or State, of this Land determines how well (or not) we are United. And that matters to me.

FATHER GOD, thank You for this introduction to Rey and his family via the internet. I appreciate the transformation You have worked. I appreciate the mission You have called him to and I appreciate all that You will yet do for, in and through him and his family. You know the uphill challenge that is before him and I am asking You for protection and guidance and every resource he needs to do this work. I pray for favor and for people to come alongside him to help him, encourage him, and give him success as he seeks to do Your will. And, Holy Spirit, I pray for prayer warriors to stand in the gap on his behalf and so I am asking for Your prompting to pray for him and his family and his campaign as You see fit in Yeshua’s name.
