Day to Day

Ephesians.

I keep returning there. Again and again. The pages of my Bible have underlines, circles, boxes, notes, and highlights.

And then today, this.
We believe Ephesians was penned circa 60 to 63 AD (In the year of Our LORD). And of the Ephesians at the beginning of the Book, we read: To the saints in Ephesus, the faithful in Christ Jesus.

And following are chapters of exhortation. Deep, glorious, amazing, thrilling, filling, transforming words of exhortation!
Please be reminded here, Ephesians was penned 60-63 AD, we believe.
And how were they addressed at that time?
Faithful! Faithful to The LORD JESUS!

Then there is the book of Revelation and a letter to the Ephesians, it’s chapter 2.
What are they then? In just 30-something years?
Who are they then?
What does CHRIST JESUS say to them?

I have one thing against you.

Brothers and Sisters, let us be aware!

I must take the Book of Ephesians to LIVE, if not Six of the Seven Letters of The Revelation may bear my name.

Ephesians.
I am confronted this morning by the Counsel of this Book, that lived out daily, I am guaranteed to not be ashamed when I see JESUS.
But that is not all. Additionally, I can now, today, live in sweet, unashamed fellowship with Him. Yes! Right now!

Prayers appreciated.

Home – Roof

These two words I noticed in this passage today. Perhaps for the first time – together.

Mark 2:1-5

What would you do if that was your roof? What did HE do?

Until next time, Kathie

Extreme

I’m taking the verse out of context and I know that is not a good practice but today I think it fits.

Paul was in prison at this writing.
To me, Paul was extreme but in an exceedingly good way; I’d like to be more like him and for you too to be more like him.
He extremely loved people and he extremely desired for people to desire to please The LORD.

We say I will be glad when —-
but Paul said I am glad.
Even in prison, he said I am glad.
What a good and lovely extreme!

Philippians 2:17-18.

17 But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you. 18 So you too should be glad and rejoice with me.

Could we easily find something in this day and say I am glad?

Ephesians 6:10 – Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Holy hugs, Kathie
