Psalm 96 Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)

96 Sing to Adonai a new song! Sing to Adonai, all the earth!
2 Sing to Adonai, bless his name! Proclaim his victory day after day!
3 Declare his glory among the nations, his wonders among all peoples!

via Ps 96 KJV;CJB – O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing – Bible Gateway.

Proclaim His victory day after day!

Do I?

Day after day does my life proclaim that YESHUA, JESUS the CHRIST, arose from the dead; has overcome death, the world, hell and the grave?

Does it?  I must answer that. Perhaps you must too.

Be Hidden in CHRIST,

ABBA, thank You for speaking. LORD JESUS, thank You for Your victory; thank You for allowing and enabling us to proclaim Your victory day after day. Help us be faithful. We continue to remember Jamie asking that You heal her; and Lance too and Others named in our respective hearts. We continue to remember Boston and West Texas, Texas – thank You for that Samaritan’s Purse is on sight helping. I pray every resource they need will be available timely. I pray for hearts to be comforted; for souls and bodies to be healed and spirits to be made alive in You Christ JESUS. Remember Israel for peace and protection; remember America for conviction and salvation, I pray. Revival us HOLY SPIRIT. And around the world I pray for the persecuted Church – for the Joy of Your Presence and strength meet for each day. Forgive us, have mercy on us and revive us, ABBA, for JESUS sake. Amen and amen.

Now. What did you see?

Just checking. Is it just me?   :)

Be Hidden in CHRIST,

But wait!

I am here this morning because I think I need to be, but my well of words has little cool refreshment to offer it seems. Janet’s words have come to mind: “Life’s hard but GOD is good.” For sure He is. And yet the frailty of human flesh betrays that truth from time to time and infects our soul with heaviness.

Sadness comes naturally. And here in this hostile world, there is MUCH to feed our sadness. Traffic. Rude people. Selfish people. Negative people. Mean people. Intoxicated people. Sickness. Disease. Injustices. Corruption. Disappointment. Death. It’s too much! The bravest of saints are subject to crumble under this weight.

But wait!

John 16:33 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

33 These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”

via John 16:33 NASB;CJB – These things I have spoken to you, so – Bible Gateway.

All of it, JESUS? Traffic? Rude people? Selfish people? Negative people? Mean people? Intoxicated people? Sickness? Disease? Cancer? Injustices? Corruption? Disappointment? EVEN Death? Yes! Even death!

So:

Nehemiah 8:10 Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)

10 . . . Don’t be sad, because the joy of Adonai is your strength.”

via Neh 8:10 CJB;NASB – Then he said to them, “Go, eat rich – Bible Gateway.

Don’t be sad. Do not sorrow as those who have no hope (see I Thessalonians 4:12-14). Not over adversity; not over sickness and disease; not even over death.

10 . . . Don’t be sad, because the joy of Adonai is your strength.”

John 15:11 These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.

via John 15 NASB;CJB – Jesus Is the Vine—Followers Are – Bible Gateway.

Father, thank You for the strength and even the WILL to choose to be not sad but to abide in Your Joy instead. And so we choose to abide in Your joy as we wait for good news about Jamie. We choose as an act of obedience to be not sad. We choose to be not sad or mad in traffic, or with people, especially adverse people. Father, we choose to respond with mercy because if we do not we will grieve You and those who love us; forgive us Father and cleanse us from all our unrighteousness, and thank You that You have in the BLOOD of Your Son. We continue to pray for Terri. Dori. Kerri. Alyssa and Others named in our hearts; asking for miracles of healing – bodies, souls, hearts, minds, and families. Thank You, HOLY SPIRIT, for taking our prayers and making them answerable in the Name of JESUS.

IT

When life stands between this screen and me, I miss you. It is at these times I know The White Stone is more for me than for you; but thank you for sharing this gathering place with me.

Psalm 13.
Starts in the natural. Ends in the Supernatural.

Look. Identify with the Psalmist.

See that he had feet of clay. See that he had doubts. See that he had fears. See that he questioned. See that he wanted ‘it’ to be different.

Then see what made the difference.

13 (0) For the leader. A psalm of David:
2 (1) How long, Adonai?
Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
3 (2) How long must I keep asking myself what to do,
with sorrow in my heart every day?
How long must my enemy dominate me?
4 (3) Look, and answer me, Adonai my God!
Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep the sleep of death.
5 (4) Then my enemy would say, “I was able to beat him”;
and my adversaries would rejoice at my downfall.
6 (5) But I trust in your grace,
my heart rejoices as you bring me to safety.
(6) I will sing to Adonai, because he gives me
even more than I need.

via Ps 13 KJV;CJB – How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? – Bible Gateway.

BUT.
But I TRUST

AS
As You are bringing me to safety, ABBA I trust. Not

WHEN You bring me to safety.

BIG DIFFERENCE.

I want to practice the BIG DIFFERENCE today. And I want you to, too.

ABBA, thank You. BUT I TRUST and AS not when. You have given us Wisdom here and by Your Strength and Grace we will make use of it today for YESHUA’s sake and our own. So this is my prayer for each dear friend who gathers here today to allow Your wisdom to be applied to this day in us. Someone close and dear is on my mind even now, wanting so much for her to see this passage; to identify and take up this wisdom living. And me too; least I fall myself this very day.
And still we are praying for Terri and family. Kerri. Dori. Pat & Rosalie. Leslie – all those who sit around that table with me. Alyssa and her family. The men and their families of the Baseball Camp this year. Israel: peace and protection. America: repentance and revival. And other dear friends whose faces we see. Thank You for the safe return of the mission teams and for the work done – keep it going HOLY SPIRIT. ABBA, this covers much and yet so little; even so we bring them, baggage and all. Mary: strong and faithful and at risk; comfort her, steady her, protect her and in time bring her through to the new life You have for her. Thank You for reading our hearts and minds and perfecting our prayers for Your Answers and helps to us all in JESUS name.
