Prayer Request – 3 year old child

I received the following prayer request today. Please join with us in praying.

“Kathie, Need Your Prayer Warriors help PLEASE
The 3 yr old that swallowed the DRAINO has now developed BRAIN LESIONS the whole outlook at best is bleak
Need Prayer Warriors to stand in the gap”

I know very little about this little boy other than a co-worker of someone close to me  is acquainted with his mother.

ABBA, this is such a tender matter on so many fronts. The precious child would seem at the point of death, brain lesions now upon all the other conditions that must surely have come upon him and his mother, the agony of soul that she must be experiencing. All this and more, no doubt.  Without a doubt You could speak a word and all would be healed and with our limited vision that seems right and yet I am reminded LORD of what You prayed in the Garden so I pray it here – if possible let this death cup pass from this little boy and give him life abundantly here but if not somehow be glorified in this ABBA that souls will be eternally changed and rescued in JESUS name. And, HOLY SPIRIT, I pray for peace and comfort beyond our comprehension for this mother and other family members who love this little boy. I pray You will send people with material, tangible helps for the her and the family. I pray for hugs when she needs them and many, many others to pray and stand in faith for this family. And, LORD JESUS, comfort this little one as only You can. Amen and . . . .   .

A Priority Concern

of mine this morning is Sheila.

Sheila is my Baby Girl’s Mother-in-law. We learned last week after a biopsy that Sheila has pancreatic cancerSince the biopsy she has been so very ill; we are presently into our second hospitalization since the biopsy. We so very much covet your prayers as we walk this season.

My Journey this morning is about the suffering we are allowed to bear, that it is intended for His Glory. We are believing that.

This comes to mind:

Psalm 23: 4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
via Psalm 23 KJV – The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not – Bible Gateway.

I will fear no evil; for thou art with me

I am noting that it does not say that evil will not come; most assuredly it will; it has! But David chose to fear not because THE SHEPHERD was with him. HIS rod and staff would comfort David.

What is true for David is true for us, for you.

Thank You, ABBA. Thank You, HOLY SPIRIT, for Your ministry of bringing to our remembrance, You said You would and You have and You will. Thank You. This pancreatic cancer we equate with evil, meant to kill and destroy but we look for YOUR GLORY in it and, HOLY SPIRIT, we ask and thank You in advance for every strength and good comfort that will come as You prompt dear ones to pray for Sheila, for the family. It hits hard; particularly the tender, tender heart of our Baby Girl. Thank You for Your comfort and strength and in this moment I ask You unashamedly and with boldness that You will remove the cancer and let Sheila continue to live here with us. And I must not stop with Sheila, there are others in this circle of dear ones that have burdens just as bitter and hard and for them we pray for healing as well. And I am reminded too of another kind of hurt; that needs wisdom and counsel; you know all the ends and out of it and I ask You to bring alongside people to help and bring information and means to get the job done. Thank You, ABBA. And for every one who comes here to read and pray, I ask that the minds of our hearts be enlightened and our knowledge and love for You increase mightily.  Amen and . . .   .

Nothing

I revealed to my beloved the other day that on any occasion that I might respond, “nothing”, should he ask me, “What’s going on in your mind.”, to just know that ‘nothing’ meant I’m not ready to tell you yet, because at NO Time is there nothing going on inside my head.  :)

I said that to say this. This morning while loading towels into the washing machine tub an account in Scripture came to mind.  This one:

John 5: 8 “Get up,” Jesus told him, “pick up your mat and walk!”
9 Instantly the man got well, picked up his mat, and started to walk.

Now that day was the Sabbath,

via John 5:7-9 HCSB – “Sir,” the sick man answered, “I – Bible Gateway.

And the message is it’s a GOD thing to pick up after yourself — JESUS said so!  He did not tell the man to get up, walk and leave his mat for someone else to pick up.

So in a general way what is the will of GOD for me and for you today?

Get up, make your bed and walk for JESUS!

ABBA, I find humor in this as I do believe You have the greatest sense of humor in the Universe. I also see avenues of wise counsel in this simple account of what You did, LORD JESUS, for this lame man. And I am thinking, HOLY SPIRIT, that many of us are lame and You are saying to us get up, pick up after yourself, stop waiting on others to do for you what you can do, get up, make your bed and walk with ME today. I want to do that, ABBA. I want to pick up and not leave undone those things You have given me to do. So I pray that for me today and for every soul who will come here to pray in agreement with what You have spoken over us this morning. Thank You for each email subscriber and for each who just happens by; I pray our knowledge of You will mature and grow and our love for You will deepen today. And I am mindful in this moment of many needs, the health and wealth of Ones dear; not a soul who comes here to pray is without concerns, ABBA, for themselves and others. So I pray for Your Kind Attention to our hearts; first and foremost that we will choose to allow You to align our hearts with Yours, particularly about these matters we are bringing to You this morning and as You align our hearts, we wait in confidence to see You work miracles.  Thank You for loving us so much. Amen and
