Nothing

I revealed to my beloved the other day that on any occasion that I might respond, “nothing”, should he ask me, “What’s going on in your mind.”, to just know that ‘nothing’ meant I’m not ready to tell you yet, because at NO Time is there nothing going on inside my head.  🙂

I said that to say this. This morning while loading towels into the washing machine tub an account in Scripture came to mind.  This one:

John 5: 8 “Get up,” Jesus told him, “pick up your mat and walk!”
9 Instantly the man got well, picked up his mat, and started to walk.

Now that day was the Sabbath,

via John 5:7-9 HCSB – “Sir,” the sick man answered, “I – Bible Gateway.

And the message is it’s a GOD thing to pick up after yourself — JESUS said so!  He did not tell the man to get up, walk and leave his mat for someone else to pick up.

So in a general way what is the will of GOD for me and for you today?

Get up, make your bed and walk for JESUS!

ABBA, I find humor in this as I do believe You have the greatest sense of humor in the Universe. I also see avenues of wise counsel in this simple account of what You did, LORD JESUS, for this lame man. And I am thinking, HOLY SPIRIT, that many of us are lame and You are saying to us get up, pick up after yourself, stop waiting on others to do for you what you can do, get up, make your bed and walk with ME today. I want to do that, ABBA. I want to pick up and not leave undone those things You have given me to do. So I pray that for me today and for every soul who will come here to pray in agreement with what You have spoken over us this morning. Thank You for each email subscriber and for each who just happens by; I pray our knowledge of You will mature and grow and our love for You will deepen today. And I am mindful in this moment of many needs, the health and wealth of Ones dear; not a soul who comes here to pray is without concerns, ABBA, for themselves and others. So I pray for Your Kind Attention to our hearts; first and foremost that we will choose to allow You to align our hearts with Yours, particularly about these matters we are bringing to You this morning and as You align our hearts, we wait in confidence to see You work miracles.  Thank You for loving us so much. Amen and

Governed

In my praying this morning I was reminded how important it is that the Word of our God govern us. I petitioned Him today that His Word would govern how we think; the decisions that we are compelled to make today, the places we will go, the words we will say and the emotions we will feel. That today we will be governed by His Word.

Acts 20: 32 And now I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

We have the God-given Right to do right in this wrong World,
Praying (PFT)!

ABBA, I am grateful for this page to come together with others of like faith and so I pray for each of us; HOLY SPIRIT, asking that You govern us with Your Very Own Word today. We see it is so very important and so much to our very own benefit and those we love that we be governed by Your Word. Many emotions may come today, some will hit us like a brick, others will creep up like an evil adversary, help us sort them for keeping or casting; to enjoy them and rejoice with much praise or cast them from us, rejoicing and giving praise and thanks to You that we have the power and grace to do so. We have looked again at the names entrusted to this ministry, some have been with us a long time, some have been depending for a long time on this ministry to faithfully stand with them; thank You for that, ABBA, and we desire to be faithful and fail not in this; we know You will not. And so I commend each one who comes to meet with You here today, that You will quicken to each heart the importance of Your Word to govern us; and I dare not fail to ask for healings and provisions, conviction and repentance in the very portions that will glorify the Name of JESUS. Thank You, ABBA.

Surprise!

Perhaps I could say the extent of my surprise is indicative of my degree of having given up.

This is the 3rd Spring for my little lily. She has been faithful to push through the winter soil for three seasons and with each appearing she gave only leaves.

But this morning? Surprise! Delight and amazement and with much praise and gratitude I found this:

Certainly the expected glory will surpass the present beauty but how foolish it would be of me to not celebrate what is while I wait for what is to come.

Can we get a life lesson from that? (You are invited to share your insights if you will.)

Dear Ones

I am frustrated this morning. Wednesdays are my days to pray for you by name  but truth is I am in need of you to pray for me.

I refrain from watching ‘lame stream media’ (borrowed from Sarah Palin) because I know it is lethal to me. The lies, the reprobate babbling that is spewed there just brings out the worst in me.  But even Fox in their effort to be ‘fair and balanced’ is overload for me this morning. Case in point: Alan Colmes. Gracious! Is he really that blind? How much kool-aide has he drank?!

See what I mean?  Frustrated!

This is going to be a long political season! I can see right now I am going to need Scripture more than ever to make it through November with any semblance of charity and mercy.

Truthfully though, I can say I wish no harm to the victims of reprobate thinking, but charity is not coming easy.  I add to my frustration imagining that I could surely reason with them; ask the right questions, draw the proper contrasts and their eyes would open.  Silly me!  (Bring every thought captive, Kathie!  2 Corinthians 10:5 )

Only Almighty GOD can witness the sin, the evil, the reprobate thinking, the malicious deeds of the masses and be not frustrated.  Oh I must draw close under the shelter of His Everlasting Wings for strength, for comfort, for love and mercy.

Psalm 91
2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him will I trust.”

4 He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust; His truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flieth by day,
6 nor of the pestilence that walketh in darkness, nor of the destruction that layeth waste at noonday.

9 Because thou hast made the LORD, who is my refuge, even the Most High, thy habitation,
10 there shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

A Rundown

of what has been occupying me this morning.

First I began with Beth Moore — Wednesdays with Beth. Click HERE to see and hear.  Listen for Age of Posers.  We live in a time of Posers – let us NOT be Posers.

Next I caught some of the 700 Club.  Click HERE for the particular news story.  And from this news story I am thinking where are the NOAHs? Am I a Noah? Am I sounding the alarm that JESUS is Coming? And who is listening? Are the peoples of the world, especially sects of Americans, like the people in Noah’s day –Laughing at him until the rain began to fall?

We know the answer to that, don’t we? Here it is.

2 Timothy 3 21st Century King James Version (KJ21)

This know also: that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, without selfcontrol, fierce, despisers of those who are good,
4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God,
5 having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof. From such turn away.
6 For of this sort are those who creep into houses and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
via 2 tim 3 KJ21 – This know also: that in the last days – Bible Gateway.

And so that wrapped and brought me here to give you something to think about.

Luke 21: 28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
