Day 6 – An Extra Hour – Fall back from Daylight Savings Time

Extra hour of sleep!! Yeah!! Or an extra hour to get ready for Sunday School – I’d like to have that every Sunday.

Romans 13:10-12 Amplified Bible (AMP)
10 Love does no wrong to one’s neighbor [it never hurts anybody]. Therefore love meets all the requirements and is the fulfilling of the Law.
11 Besides this you know what [a critical] hour this is, how it is high time now for you to wake up out of your sleep (rouse to reality). For salvation (final deliverance) is nearer to us now than when we first believed (adhered to, trusted in, and relied on Christ, the Messiah).
12 The night is far gone and the day is almost here. Let us then drop (fling away) the works and deeds of darkness and put on the [full] armor of light.

Yes. You read it right. Judgment. I am happy dance grateful for judgment.  I have come to understand that when a man or woman says ‘don’t judge me’ they are really saying ‘don’t tell me I did wrong’.

I would so like to say Dear One perish the thought! There is no need for me to judge, nor can I.
GOD already has.
It is recorded in His Word – the judgment is written there for us to read and believe for ourselves.

But that’s not what I am happy dance grateful about. Would you like to know?
Good.
Cause I really want to share it.
I am happy dance grateful that I am no longer afraid of judgment. Moreover, I am delighted to look my sins square in the face and hear them declared worthy of judgment. Why?
Because the next thing I hear is that JESUS PAID IT ALL for me and because I have accepted His sacrifice, I am free of guilt and condemnation.

I am happy dance grateful that nothing I think, say, or do is hidden from Father and He, the HOLY SPIRIT, is ever-present to nudge me, prod me, remind me, whatever it takes to get me to agree, and lay that unholy thought or deed at the foot of JESUS’ cross and be fully clean and un-condemned.

Oh yes! I’ll gladly take moments of horrendous painful judgment to receive the full pardon offered by JESUS CHRIST!!
Yes! Yes! HOLY SPIRIT tell me, convince me when I am wrong when I have sinned against You.  I invite You to judge my thoughts and my deeds continuously. And, if You use the mouth of one of my brothers or sisters to speak that correction, thank You, LORD. Thank You that they and You love me enough to tell me. Amen and Amen in JESUS’ Name.

1THEREFORE, [there is] now no condemnation (no adjudging guilty of wrong) for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live [and] walk not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit.

24 I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, the person whose ears are open to My words [who listens to My message] and believes and trusts in and clings to and relies on Him Who sent Me has (possesses now) eternal life. And he does not come into judgment [does not incur sentence of judgment, will not come under condemnation], but he has already passed over out of death into life.
25 Believe Me when I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, the time is coming and is here now when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear it shall live.

So now do you see why I am happy dance grateful for JUDGMENT? Now, aren’t you too?

Space Heaters

I am grateful for space heaters that give you just enough heat on a crisp morning when it’s too early in the year to turn on the heat pump.  There is a rule written about that somewhere for lower Alabama, right? :)

And speaking of seasons.

2 Timothy 4:1-3 21st Century King James Version (KJ21)
1 I charge thee therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at His appearing and His Kingdom:
2 preach the Word; be instant in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but having itching ears, they shall heap to themselves teachers in accordance with their own lusts.

In this ‘season’ of this 21st Century in which we live it is time for us to ‘turn up the heat’. To be space heaters in our own little corner of the world. to give people the warmth of JESUS’ love and yes the knowledge that there is a ‘great heat’ coming for all who refuse to live holy.
